Giveaway: Valentine’s Day Date Night Package

LOVE PACKAGE GIVEAWAY

Good Monday morning, mamas!

Valentine’s Day is this weekend (Sunday, to be exact), so we’re giving away a LOVE PACKAGE in honor of the holiday of love.

Look at all the awesomeness the winner will receive:

♥ An overnight stay at Hyatt Place with her favorite person (and the lucky mama will be able to choose her night to stay; it doesn’t have to be Valentine’s Day!)

♥ A package of delicious Kyya Chocolate that includes a variety of their most popular bars, including 72.5% Midnight Hispanolia (with hints of burnt orange and dark cherry), 72.5% Ecuador (with hints of cherry), 50.3% Dark Uganda, 50.3% Uganda Sea Salt Almond, 33.3% Uganda Milk and 33.3% Uganda Milk Almond.

♥ A 60-minute Swedish massage from the Revive Medical Spa. Ahhhhhhhhh. We’re feeling relaxed already.

What’s not to about this package?!

ABOUT HYATT PLACE: Sometimes you just need to get away, but it  just doesn’t sound doable to leave town — and leave the kiddos — for several days.

That’s when a LOCAL overnight stay makes sense. You get away for the night, recharge with your husband (or your besties) and still make it to your kid’s events — or work — on Monday. The Hyatt Place in Rogers/Bentonville is the perfect way to “get away from it all” without going too far.

hyatt rogers bentonvilleWe’re  sure you’ve spotted this hotel from the interstate as you drive through Rogers (it’s at 4610 W. Walnut St). Their logo has the cute dots that we always notice when we’re over that way. We love the upscale vibe of this hotel inside and out.

While you’re relaxing at the Hyatt, you can enjoy the (coffee, beer and wine) bar, grab ‘n go items at the Gallery Market, the fitness center and more. And we know you’ll love your bright, airy guest room. Sleep late at the hotel, if you want, because the kids won’t be there to wake you up too early. When you do climb out of bed, you’ll be treated to a complimentary “A.M. Kitchen Skillet” breakfast at the hotel to complete your stay. Here are a few other luxuries:

  • Free Wi-Fi everywhere
  • Swiveling 42″ flat screen HDTV
  • Contemporary bathroom
  • Luxury skin and hair care
  • Mini-fridge

Click here to see more pics and read about what they have to offer.

The winning mama can choose which night she’d like to stay at the hotel (it doesn’t have to be on Valentine’s Day). Sound like something you’d like to win? We thought so!

NOTE FROM THE MAMAS: The Hyatt is offering some special Valentine’s packages in honor of the holiday of love this weekend! If you want to be sure and have a happy Valentine’s Day stay — along with some great perks thrown in to make it extra special — just give Mahdisen a call and she will hook you up! The main number is 479-633-8555

Thanks, Mahdi!

He is an amazing father, to not only our two daughters, but also the foster kids who we were given the opportunity to love and provide for through their most difficult times.

  8. Have to be my step-day whom I have reconnected with over the past several years. He has been awesome in my children’s lives and been so active while dealing with his own illness. He has always been encouraging and supportive of me while being a single Mom. He loves his grandbabies and I can always get wise words. He is funny, humble, and wants to see me succeed.

  9. I am actually entering this to give it to my mom. She has worked hard her entire life (69 years). She has sacrificed for my brother, dad and I and now gives endlessly to her 3 grandbabies! She stood strong when my dad was diagnosed with cancer and always only focused on recovery and his mental well-being…again, putting her loved ones first. She never does anything for herself. They do not travel much et to visit family. And she has NEVER had a massage. She is caring, kind, loving and all around an inspiration to anyone who knows her. If you asked someone to describe my mom in one word most would find it difficult because when you automatically want to rave about how amazing her character is….but if I had to choose JUST ONE WORD to describe my mom it would be…RARE. I have never met another person as amazing as my mother.

  10. My special person is my husband. He works his tail off and loves us so well. He is fro sure the anchor in our family and helps keep me calm and grounded. I’m so thankful for him even after 10 years of marriage!

  17. I love my 3 little girls with all my heart. They make me laugh, cry and a little crazy but I can’t imagine life without them (and their daddy!)

  18. I have many but my daughter is a real trooper. She has had to step up and be head of the house as her husband works out of town. They will not be together for Valentines Day and she is having a hard time dealing with this as he was gone for Christmas also. I love her so much and try to be there as much as I can but its not the same as having your hubby. She would be a great pick for this getaway. Thanks

  24. I love my man greatly, 22 years of marriage. Thirteen children, years of fostering children and 9 adoptions, 2 being International. Hosting International children, extending love to so many in our home and in our community. I can’t imagine spending this life and traveling this journey with anyone other than, my man, the one God chose for me!!!!

  25. I love all my 3 kids, but I have to brag on my middle child. Her name is Shiloh and she’s not quite 4 years old. She has red hair and a sensory processing disorder. She has started therapy recently which has helped her tremendously. Her little hugs and kisses make all the trauma from her disorder melt away. She has the most beautiful blue eyes that see straight to my heart. I love her so much and am grateful for all the patience she has taught me!

  26. I would prob take one my my best friends who just lost her husband the end of December. It’s been a rough last month and she needs a break and a little relaxation

  30. I love my husband Mitchell and thank God for bringing him into my life at just the right time. We’ve been married for 13 years. He asked my parents and my grown children for my hand in marriage. He fit in perfectly with our family. He is my best friend, my prayer partner, my sweetheart, my confidant. I like to share with my friends that when you aren’t particularly looking for someone, God will surprise you with just the right person for you.

  31. I would say my best friend who has helped me through a very tough year. Lots of sadness, loss and transitions but she has been there for me every step of the way.

  32. I love my husband. He is such a provider and always puts his family 1st. He is a GREAT dad, hard-worker and wonderful listener.

  33. The number one reason Ilovemy husband is that he is the best human example of unconditional love.

  34. I love my husband! My husband works extra hard sometimes that I can stay home with our 3 children. We’ve been blessed to just recently be able to do this because he made it possible. He is the best husband and father and my children and I wouldn’t know what to do without him!

  35. I love my best friend and soul mate. We have been together for 15 years and have 4 beautiful daughters. I love him because he’s a GREAT father, he Helps out around the house, he provides for the girls, he was my shoulder to cry on when I lost my mother and has now stepped up and became the listening ear that she always was for me, he put his family first no matter what, And he sacrifices his own wants and needs in order to keep us all happy. BUT MOST OF ALL………. I Love him for being able to deal with all 5 of us females……… Being the only Male in the house has got to be rough!! Daddy needs a Get Away!!

  36. Definitely my husband! Neither one of us are even close to perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but he goes above and beyond to make me feel treasured. We’ve faced some challenging times, as I’m sure any married couple has, over the past few years i.e. relationship/communication challenges as we’ve grown with each other, financial challenges with lost job transitions, and challenges with children moving into teenage years. 😉 However, no matter what challenge has come our way so far, he challenged me personally to be stronger (even if it makes me fighting mad), encouraged me , and always reminded me he has my back as my best friend. I know we are blessed to have each other. I do love that man!

  37. My husband, who has been there for me no matter what, and can ALWAYS make me laugh!

  38. I love my husband for being my partner through our home renovation. A year and a half of construction and we are still happily married!

  39. I love my husband! He is so forgiving of my mistakes! We’ve been married almost 10 years and this would be perfect for us to get away for a night!

  40. Love my hubby. He is always there to encourage and support me. He is my best friend!

  41. My mother-in-law has become the mother I never knew. We’ve cried through some experiences together, and she’s provided the extra emotional boost that helped hold me and my whole family steady and confident. She never complains about what she never had in her early life “in the desert” but instead makes this new life here in Arkansas all that it can be, and we are seeing the fruits of that in each of us. I love my mom, and there is likely no gift that could fully show our appreciation, but perhaps I could accompany her on a special day to relax and to share together–an oasis in that desert.

  42. I love my husband because he works so hard for our family. He encourages me to go out & do something for myself, even if I say I don’t need it. He loves me through my mood swings and tells me he loves me every single day. I’m a lucky girl.

  43. This Valentine’s Day is also my 16th Anniversary! My husband has been faithful through thick and thin, still makes me laugh and is a always a loving father to our children.

  44. My husband Nick is my partner in life and I am incredibly blessed to have found him. He is the type of person that makes me want to be a better person. He truly is the most generous person I know. Life is short and while we are normal and take each other for granted, we mostly try to live our life to the fullest since it all goes by so fast. With 2 teenagers and a 19month old in the house, it’s a bit of a blur sometimes. This getaway would be amazing to stop and just breathe.

  45. My husband is awesome. Im so lucky to have met him. He is everything 1 Corinthians 13
4-8 describes. I thank GOD daily for him!

  46. My husband is a great man and father. He puts up with my sometimes crazy work schedule as a chef and is very helpful around the house. We have been married nearly 17 years and I love him and our two beautiful girls more each day.

  47. My husband loves to give and truly has a servant’s heart. He also has such a loving heart. Especially to those who need it the most. He captured my heart 15 years ago and has held it ever since. I love him with everything in me. ❤️

  48. I love my mom. She has had a really hard time lately, but she doesn’t let it get her down. She tries hard to make sure that her family has what they need. We pass her around from sister to sister (there are 3 of us) and she spends time with the grandkids and great grandkids to make them feel loved. She is in recovery from two back to back heart attacks in October. We feel very blessed to still have her with us. This getaway would be a nice treat for me to share with her.

  49. My husband has shown me such love. He has a servants heart and he gives his all for me and our family. He works hard and still gives at home. He loves unconditionally and I am so thankful for him.

  50. I love my best friend Tara. She is an amazing mother to triplets, a wonderful wife, and most importantly, MY PERSON. We have been through a lot together, and despite the ups and downs, we always have each other’s back. I love her for what she stands for, and what she does for others.

  51. I love my 3 (not so little) babies! They remind me daily to slow down, laugh and enjoy life!

  52. I love my parents. Even though I’m almost 39 they are always there for my kids and I making sure our needs are meet. I’m truly blessed to have them as my parents.

  53. My amazing husband! We have been together for 15 years married for 10! He is my rock. When my mom was battling cancer he took care of everything. He took over paying all of her bills, managing her other commitments all the while helping out with our newborn baby girl. After she passed away he stepped up even more and made all the hard decisions I didn’t have the strength to make. I would love to win and spend the romatic stay with him! Thank you!

  54. My husband is my high school sweetheart. We have been together for 25 years. He is my rock. We have been through everything together. He makes me laugh and keeps me going when times are hard. We have two beautiful kiddos. He’s awesome.

  60. My special person is my wonderful husband. We have been married for almost 15 years & he still makes my heart flutter. He is an awesome father to our daughter & very loving, caring husband! He would do anything for us & works very hard to take care of us both! I love him with all my heart!

  61. My Valentine is suffering from a debilitating disease (MS). In April, we will be married 24 years and have raised two wonderful sons together who are now 23 and 20. He could really use this little respite to restore his spirits a little. He works so hard to still be able to provide for the family and tries to do things around the house. He’s pretty amazing.

  62. love love my hubby. he serves me and our family so selflessly and joyfully. the best of that is that it teaches our son how to treat a lady and our daughter how she should be treated – such a loving example in every day life!

  63. I love my sweet, funny daughter. She’s the light of my life, and helps me strive to constantly be a better person!

  64. I love my husband more than I can even put into words! I went through a terrible divorce about 4 years ago and swore I’d be a man hater for the rest of my life but then almost 2 years ago Shawn came into my life, swept me off my feet, and took care of my son and I like he was our knight in shining armor! He’s been an amazing father to my son and has taken him under his wing as if he were his very own! He has seen me when I had to go through a horrible ordeal with my ex husband and his wife and he has stayed by my side never wavering despite all of the drama that they constantly tried to stir up in our first year of marriage. I truly do no not know how I ever go through life without him! He is human so he isn’t perfect but he has been my own personal gift from God and the absolute love of my life!

  65. I love my mentor. She has taught me so much about what a Woman if God looks like and lives day to day. I can’t smile when I think of her and the investment she has made in me!

I follow on Twitter and Pinterest too!

  66. I would have to say my sisters. We have a shared history and have known each other our entire lives. They have helped me through hard times and love my children like second mamas. They will always be special to me.

  67. I am so fortunate and blessed to have so much love for so many. Of course my dh is at the top of the list. I think have may qualify sainthood in some countries for putting up with my antics, my moods and my struggles. He has always been by my side, no matter how hard I try to push him away, to provide unconditional love and Support. Most of all I love how we challenge each to continue to grow as people, parents, and it individuals. I can honestly say I adore him, respect him and fall more in live with him each and everyday… Not to mention his blue eyes. I am so thankful and excited that I will get to grow old with him. I love the fact my husband truly is the man I dream about.
I of course have to mention my 2 kids Who showed me what love really is and how overwhelming and all encompassing it can be. Lastly I most mention Manet and Monet( my 2 doggies.. My first children 🙂 I strive everyday to be the person my dogs thinks I am…

  68. I love my husband because he can always make me laugh, is incredibly patient and figures any tiny bit of good news is a reason to celebrate.

  69. I love my husband! He works so hard for his family! He’s an awesome husband and daddy!

  70. I love my man! We’ve been through what felt like the most difficult of times and the best of times, always together. He makes me laugh and he accepts me for who I am…good and bad.

  71. I love my husbandwe have been married for 17 years. I am very spoiled. Next year we aregoingto Alaska… A cruise to Alaska what’s not too love about that…. We have 3,awesome boys together that makes our family complete lots of adventures that’s for sure

  72. The person I Love is my mother! My mom and I have rode in 4 ambulances over the last two weeks. We have spent numerous hours in the hospital. I have slept on plastic sofas and have been sleeping on her couch when we got released to be there for her. My mom was severely bleeding out her nose and eyes. Her blood pressure went sky high. I think things are finally getting better now. She has been a trooper. We are exhausted and a little R&R and pampering does a body good! Trying to take her place in the family while she is down is the hardest job my sister and I have ever faced. After seeing my mom face these challenges, it reminds me of the reason I need to eat better, take care of myself and fight heart disease!!! We would love to take our mom for some R & R! To all the women in our lives that Rock Our World….Have a Happy Valentines Day!

  73. I would have to say my husband of 17 years!!! He is a great husband and has patience and is very hard worker.

  74. My husband and I have been together for 20 years. I have loved him since I was 15 years old and over the years that love has grown an matured he is my everything and I can’t imagine living without him. We have three children and sometimes we just need a little break to focus on each other.

  75. I have to say without question, my husband, Colin, has been my rock and my motivation to keep going much of the time. Having a start up business close to middle-age and with tiny children has been the most challenging projects I’ve taken on to date. He puts up with an awful lot of crazy hours, nutty artistic tantrums and highs and lows and he is consistent and steady when I’m not. He encouraged me to start my business in order to finally give me the flexibility I so wanted with little ones, and we laugh now to think of that, because we work three times as hard as we were working before this started! How ever, you can’t work that hard unless you love what you’re doing and you can’t love what you’re doing unless the people around you and make you feel loved. There are times that I want to get in a boat and drift away, mostly for some sleep, but I have him as an anchor to remind me of all that is good and worth floating for.

  76. My husband is the most selfless person I know. He is balancing grad school, a full time job, and family time beautifully. He is smart, funny, compassionate, and handsome. I hit the jackpot when I married him.

  77. My husband plans great adventures for us. I would love to win a great weekend like this where he doesn’t have to arrange the details! Great giveaway!

  78. My 24 year old daughter is my best friend. I have some health issues and she doesn’t hesitate to help me with her younger siblings ages 14 and 10 when she is a single mom with a 2 year old. When I’m upset she is a great listener. She has been thru a lot lately and works her butt off to support her and her daughter in her own with no help from anyone. I’m super proud of her and can’t think of anyone more deserving.

  79. I love my friends who have helped me through some very difficult times! They pray for me, support me, and encourage me!

  80. I love my husband, he is my rock on earth. He loves me at my best & worst. He is the best husband ever!!!!!!!

  88. I love so many of my family and friends, but I guess I can’t write a novel here. My Mom has always been there for me through thick and thin. Sometimes things can get pretty thick but Mom had faith in me and supported me all the way. But, that was then. My Husband/Partner is the love of my life and the time with him has been the best time of my life. He is the one who takes care of me and holds me tight. He has built my confidence and lifts me up. I know we would have a great time and could use a vacation! 😉

Also, I commented on FB, followed you guys on Twitter and signed up for the newsletter. Will follow on pinterest now. Thanks! I do hope we win.

  89. My husband made me a mom instantly! He was a single dad raising three beautiful children alone. Dad’s hardly get any empathy or support for raising kids alone; not that he ever complained! I fell hard for him and his children. After only a year together we got married. This year we will be celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary. They completed my life in more ways than they realize! The only downside is between travel softball, baseball, football, doctor appointments, and work, my husband and I never really got a chance to date, or honeymoon for that matter! This would be a great worry free way to go on a much needed date with my husband!

  90. My husband and daughter! My hubby is my best friend and works tirelessly to provide for us. We definitely need a night off and our sweet girl can have a sleepover with family 🙂

  91. My late grandparents (whom I loved dearly) modeled love in the way they cherished and cared for each other for 62 years. They taught me that love is a choice and an action.

  92. Scott my husband! I love him because he is committed to taking the best care of our family in caring for our boys in an intentional way.

  93. My husband is my true love. He is kind, patient and such a role model for our children. I commented on FB, follow you on Twitter & Pinterest, and I get the newsletter.

  94. My best friend and soul mate! He’s been there with me through think and thin! He worked a full time job, 3rd shirt to be exact and a full time uofa student, while I was at a high risk pregnancy. To make matters worse, after 28 days of giving birth to our baby girl, my father passed away of unexpected massive heart attack, while traveling to Mexico. So there I was with a 28 day old baby, depressed and feeling empty because I had lost my father and wasn’t able to say goodbye to my beloved daddy. After all of my issues I was going through and being an awful mess, he stepped up to the plate and was able to left my spirits up and give me all the time I needed to grieve. So in my eyes he’s my rock, shoulder to cry on and perfect soul mate a girl could ever ask for.

  95. My best friend and soul mate is the greatest person I know. He’s been there for me through thick and thin. He worked a full time job, 3rd shift to be exact, while going to school full time at the uofa and dealing with me, a high risk pregnant woman. I gave birth to our beautiful baby girl and 28 days later, my father had a massive heart attack, while traveling to Mexico and passed away instantly. I wasn’t able to say goodbye to my beloved daddy and felt guilty for the longest time. But at the end of the day my love stepped up to the plate and handled it all, once again and allowed me the time to grieve. So to me he’s perfection in my eyes.

  96. I love my husband because he works so hard for our family and he is super supportive of me going back to school.
