  11. When my daughter was 3 we took a vacation to Disneyworld. My son and daughter were so excited. When we arrived in Florida the coach bus came and picked us up. It was rainy and stormy that day. The bus driver was being funny and told all of us not to worry it never rains at the park. As we went through the gates to the resorts we looked out the windows to see the clouds part and the sun came out. A full rainbow appeared over the park. The bus driver started laughing and said see I told you it never rains at the park. Lol. Best magical moment ever.

  35. We went to Santa Rosa beach a few years ago, and it was our first ever only “us and the kids” type of vacation (our family is really spread out so our vacations always consist of visiting family). It was so awesome to be able to relax with the kids, and do what we wanted without having to go somewhere or do things we didn’t really want to do. We hunted for crabs on the beach, went parasailing, boogie boarding on the waves, and built sandcastles. I will always treasure that trip because it was magical and peaceful. As much as I love our families, sometimes it’s great to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and spend quality time with my husband and kids.

  36. A time I felt was truly magical was on a vacation with my husband to Royal Plantation in Jamaica. It was a week of perfection and I dream about going back there some day.

The entire place was magical. The transformation in the kids we took, seeing the campers with special needs “soar” in their accomplishments, and seeing God do His “thing”…simply magical!!! Best. trip. ever.

  41. There have been many magical moments in my life but I will never forget taking our oldest granddaughter to Cinderella’s Castle for breakfast when she was 4. She dressed up as a princess and was selected as princess of the day. She led all of the guests up the staircase to the breakfast hall. She had her picture made with Cinderella and was able to meet all of the other princesses. She wore a tiara and had her wand. I had center stage watching it all unfold through her eyes. Magical and enchanting for her mother and I. Can’t wait to do it with her little sister.

  52. We have been to Disney World and it was truly magical when I stepped onto Main Street and saw Cinderella’s castle for the first time. What is even more magical though is when all of my family is together just doing something normal and being together. Just taking a moment to step outside and really look into the faces of my husband and two kids laughing and having fun is better than any vacation I could plan and makes all of the sacrifices worthwhile. It makes me appreciate all that I have and makes my love for them grow by leaps and bounds.

  53. This past April, I drove from Springdale to Ashland, OR and back by myself…. My marriage was in it’s final days and life as I previously knew it was disintegrating…. but I had experiences I could never dream or fully explain on that trip.

Scenery, people, discovering things about myself…… I wouldn’t change going for anything I lost when I got back.

  54. A magical time in my life would have been summers with my grandmother and great-grandmother. I’d spend 2 months a year with them up north in a cabin and it was like being removed from reality and living in a bubble. No traffic or trains or tons of people. No rush or hustle and bustle.

I miss those years being able to get away like that.

  55. There has to be two:
When the weather was perfect and I was so close to the ocean watching my little girl laugh and play. There was not a care in the world. Just joyful and indeed magical.
Just watching from the Disney sidewalk after the parade, music and fireworks and lightshow above Cinderella and Prince Charming’s castle. My little Prince Charming to this day sees the Disney castle on tv and says, ‘there’s my castle!!!’

  56. Our honeymoon in Maui was pretty magical. Seeing someplace so beautiful that I thought only existed in books. It was perfect.

  59. I turned 25 while living in Hawaii, my friends and I each planned special ways to spend what seemed like such a “big” birthday. For my day we drove to a mountaintop observatory to see the stars over the Pacific Ocean. We had a cake that we shared with strangers at the park; and I remember thinking it was such a laughter-filled, warm, memorable, magical day. I hope my children will experience days like that in their adulthood!

  60. The most magical time in my life was dating my husband. Time together is always magical!!

  64. In 2011 we took our two grandchildren on a trip through Canada & the Yukon up the Alaskan Hiway to Fairbanks. The scenery of the canadian rockies and the lakes of British Columbia were breathtaking….THEN we took the western Hiway 1 route from Fairbanks to Anchorage and realized the best was yet to come…. we will never forget the majestic scenery , wild animals, streams, lakes and experiences of that wonderful trip. My grandaughter is turning 11 this spring…. would love to take her to see Cinderella !

  65. The first time I got to hold my daughter! She was sent to the NICU directly after birth so I had to wait a few days before I could hold her. Once she got down to only a few tubes- they let me hold her and it was more than magical! We weren’t in the NICU long thank The Lord. But I’d rock her at night there and tell her about all the girly things we’d do together.

  66. Having my first child was magical and I was on cloud nine that I was finally a mommy!

  67. Playing dress up with my 3 year old EVERY night…as soon as she comes home from school she rushes to her room and picks out her “princess” for the evening. It’s so amazing to see her play the role, so lady like, so respectful, so full of love! It’s purely magical to see her light up when we play princess.
