Where are you from and how long have you lived in NWA? Aurora, MO. I moved to NWA in 1988.

What’s one of your favorite childhood memories? So many….Friday nights were always so much fun & special. We got to go into the “big city,” Springfield MO, to have dinner and shop. We did not have a McDonald’s so going there was a huge treat. My folks would want to go to a restaurant but us girls usually won out. Then the evening would wrap up with us stopping at Crazy Cecil’s on the way out of town and each of us would get a PeeWee Doll of which my Mother would make clothes for and we would play with for hours on end…we had pretty much every PeeWee ever made.
Tell us about some traditions you do with your kids. Our family dinner is Sunday Nights now. Even with the kids living in different towns, we try to make this work as frequently as possible. Most often they bring friends with them so I always fix extra just in case. If it can’t be a home cooked meal, I sometimes make the trip to Fayetteville to take them to dinner.
What’s the best part about being the mom of “older” kids? When they come back home because they really want to be comfortable and “just at home.”
What’s your favorite thing to do in NWA? Hang with friends at our homes or movie theater or ballgame or Walton Arts Center.
What are your favorite hobbies? Traveling, Razorback sporting events, collecting baseball cards.
If you could have a second home somewhere where would it be? My most relaxing and enjoyable time was spent in Maui so would choose there.

If a song was written about your life, what would the title be? Crazy Life of Mine.
What’s something you would love to learn? How to scuba dive in Maui.
I have been meaning to: Get my masters in counseling and clean my garage.
How do you de-stress at the end of the day? Sit on my deck with music and a book or hang with friends.

I would just like to say that Willa is my Momma/Dad she’s been both my whole life so that tells everyone just how awesome she is right off the bat! I am very proud of her and she is the greatest most amazing woman in the whole world an my hero and I one day hope I can be half as great as a prent that she has been and if I can be half I will be awesome!! I love ya momma!!
