Ticket Giveaway: The Young King at Walton Arts Center

Happy Monday, mamas! Time for a giveaway! We’ve got 4 FREE tickets to see The Young King at Walton Arts Center on May 5th.

This is an interactive show in Walton Arts Center’s family line-up that asks, “What kind of King would you be?”

The Young King tells the story of a naïve boy raised by goatherds who turns out to be the heir to the kingdom. Untold treasures and privileges are laid at his feet, but at what cost to others? Performed by two actors and one musician, and enhanced by miniature puppets and shadow play, this interactive performance tells a touching coming of age story that grapples with the ethics of beauty, leadership and compassion.

Who wants to go on a journey to faraway lands with rich rewards and challenging choices? You’ll love this show.

Here’s a video to give you a little taste of what the show will be like:

“RELAXED” PERFORMANCE: The 2pm show is relaxed performance. Select performances in our season have been adapted to incorporate special modifications to serve adults and children with sensory-input disorders, autism or other developmental or cognitive disability, as well as anyone who might feel uncomfortable attending a typical live theater performance. 1. Tithe, give to charity, pay off bills to be debt free and save for my kids college fund and a rainy day!

  2. I would take my kids on a fun vacation!!! And I would donate to the children’s shelter.

  3. I would try to find the person who could use the money the most, and who would be most likely to pay it forward, and put it towards helping that person get on their feet.

  4. I would pay some bills and take my kids to Disneyworld & Harry Potter World, since they’ve been wanting to go for a long while now!

  5. If I had a large sum of money I would buy my family our own home so we can paint everyone’s room the color they want and finally buy a wooden swing set!I want my children to have memories growing up in the same house and coming back home to it from college! I would also take my kids to the beach and a ride in an airplane since it is their one wish!! Haha. <3
