Tickets to see Annie on stage at Walton Arts Center on May 5-7, 2023

We love Annie! And she’ll be on the Walton Arts Center stage May 5-7, 2023. You and your kids need to see this iconic show. This week we’re giving away four tickets to the show on opening night, May 5, 2023.

ABOUT THE SHOW:

Holding onto hope when times are tough can take an awful lot of determination; and sometimes, an awful lot of determination comes in a surprisingly small package. Little Orphan Annie has reminded generations of theatergoers that sunshine is always right around the corner, and now the best-loved musical of all time is set to return in a new production – just as you remember it and just when we need it most.

This celebration of family, optimism and the American spirit remains the ultimate cure for all the hard knocks life throws your way.

This show is recommended for kids ages 5 and up.

  1. It’s a hard knock life. It was one of my dance recital songs as a little girl so it brings back fond memories!

  2. It’s a hard knock life- my daughters dance and that was the first dance they were able to preform in together!

  3. Tomorrow- I love this song, and my youngest son is 8 and he loves it and has been singing it all the time around the house. Would love for him to be able to see the excitement of Annie live on stage!

  4. It’s a hard knock life has been one of my favorites since I was a little girl.

  5. My kids all voted “ It’s a hard knock life“, but I’m with y’all on “Maybe”. But every Annie song is simply phenomenal!

  6. My 9 year old daughter can sing every sing from beginning to end. She said her favorite is maybe!

  7. Tomorrow. It reminds me that tomorrow is another day and another chance to make it better or better myself. That there’s hope. My grandchildren have watched the movies with me. I made it a point for them to relate to me as much as me to them….they love it. I’d love to be able to afford to take them. 3 tickets for over 200$ is not something this grandma can afford. 🙁

  8. It’s a Hard Knock Life! My two girls sing it every time they have to do chores. It makes us all laugh.

  9. Obviously, you’re never fully dressed without a smile is a favorite, but I also love Let’s Go to the Movies! As an only child born when the original Annie was so popular, Annie was my imaginary friend and bff! My mom has so many stories of my shenanigans with “Annie”! I would love to take her to this as an early Mother’s Day outing!

  10. “I Think I’m Going to Like It Here” love her excitement in this scene!

  11. Tomorrow!! The sun will always come out again! No matter how bad your day is, the sun will always shine again!

  12. You’re never fully dressed without a smile! And of course it’s a hard knock life. All so great! ❤️

  13. I really love the song, Little Girls. If that’s not a choice though, Easy Street!

  14. Most definitely Hard Knock Life. My sister, AnnaLee, was obsessed with the movie when she was little and wanted to watch it every day. (Her nickname is Annie!) We can both sing every word…it’s such a great musical!!

  15. It is hard to choose one song: You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile and It’s a Hard Knock Life!

  16. We’ve just finished watching the Anne of Green Gables series, and Anne and Annie seem to share the same spirit of hope and determination!!

  17. Can’t wait to take my mom, mom-in-law, and step-daughter. They are all begging to go! 🙂

  18. How do you choose! Tomorrow- my sister would sing this ALL the time. Great memories, Annie great story, movie ans play!!

  19. Maybe is my favorite too! I love them all though! Thanks for giving away such great stuff!

  20. They are all so good! But if we had to pick, probably It’s a Hard Knock Life! Such a fun part in the movie…but we’d love to see it in a play too 🙂

  21. I love I Think I’m Gonna Like It Here! It’s the moment she realizes things are turning around for her, if only for a short period of time.

  22. “Tomorrow “. Love the message of hope and a positive outlook for the future!

  23. I like “It’s A Hard Knock Life for Us”. I’m DIVORCED DAD of two teens!

  24. “You’re never fully dressed without a smile” is my favorite. All of the songs are great and have stuck in my head since childhood.😊

  25. This is definitely a hard one!! If ALL of them aren’t an option I’d have to say Tomorrow and Hard Knock Life as a runner up. I remember singing all of them and as a family we’ve watched all the versions. I’d love to take my 2 daughters to an actual theatrical showing of the movie❤️ Thanks for the opportunity!

  26. I love it’s a hard knock life and tomorrow. My daughters love to sing both of these! We love musicals! I follow you on social media and receive the email newsletter.

  27. I love them all, but Tomorrow is always what comes to mind when I think about Annie. My own daughter Annie would LOVE to see this with her best friend (also called Annie – not kidding!) and sister…and me the mom of course. 😉

  28. Definitely Tomorrow for me! I have always been drawn to songs that help me get my perspective in the right place!

  29. Oh my goodness. This whole show is my favorite. But I love it’s a hard knock life for us the most. When I was little I would watch the movie and act out all of the scenes. I had an Annie doll and we would dance. I also had the broken locket necklace. This brings back so many great memories.

  30. Tomorrow! I remember a fellow classmate singing this in 6th grade at a talent show! I love to sing this on rainy days!!
