What We’re Reading: Something for everyone

Hey, mamas! Shannon here. I mentioned on 107.9 a few Thursdays ago that I was reading five books at once (it was a show about multi-tasking!). I always have a book for every mood at the ready. Parenting, business, fiction, psychology, memoir. Love them all.

The good news is no matter what “type” of book you like to cozy up with, I usually have a suggestion.

Here’s what’s languishing beside my bed right now (because I’ve been tackling a new work project and haven’t had time to read them, but desperately want to):

Men and Dogs by Katie Crouch (Fiction)

Lift by Kelly Corrigan (Memoir)

The Blessing of B Minus by Wendy Mogel Ph.D. (Parenting, psychology)

The Happiness Advantage by Shawn Achor (Business, psychology)

Girls on the Edge: The Four Factors Driving the New Crisis for Girls by Leonard Sax, M.D., Ph.D. (Parenting, psychology)

The Referral Engine by John Jantsch (Business)

  1. Water for Elephants was a fantastic book my book club read last year. It’s going to be released as a movie next year with Robert Pattinson playing the lead… you should check it out. 🙂
