Mom’s Choice Award Winner: Metro Appliances & More wins for “Best Appliance Store” in Benton County

The mamas of nwaMotherlode have been big fans of Metro Appliances & More for a long time, and voting results prove that lots of other moms in Northwest Arkansas agree with us. Women who voted in the 2012 Mom’s Choice Awards voted overwhelmingly for Metro Appliances & More in the “Best Appliance Store” category for Benton County. Congrats to Metro for the award!

We have yet to meet a fellow mom who was not happy with the level of customer service she had at Metro. The sales staff is trained on all the features of the appliances they sell, so they can answer questions in detail. And they strike the perfect balance because they make you feel that they sincerely want to help you, but they never seem pushy and they won’t stalk you as you cruise the showroom if you’d rather browse alone.

We’ve always believed that you can judge a business by the kind of comments they get from local moms. Here are some of the comments about Metro’s serivce, which were posted by local mothers in past articles published on nwaMotherlode:

As for the big factor — PRICE — they’re the most competitive in the area, in our opinion. Because Metro is a regional chain, they have lots of buying power and therefore get some of the best deals on the highest quality brands including names like Maytag, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, LG, JennAir, Samsung, Wolf, Subzero, Viking, Electrolux and lots more. They also have a “scratch and dent” area where you can find even deeper discounts on less-than-perfect brand new appliances. Their delivery and set-up guys are top-notch, too, and they make sure everything is up and running smoothly before they leave.

When we told  Metro’s store manager, Dave Wicklund, the good news about winning the 2012 Mom’s Choice Award, he was really happy that their store has been recognized by the women they serve most often. “Mothers are a very big deal around here, so we do everything we can to make their lives easier by helping them find the appliance that’s going to work best for what they need. Moms like to be able to do side-by-side comparisons of different models and brands, so we’ve set up the showroom so they’ll be able to do that. The features on appliances change from year to year, so we’re constantly training the staff so we’ll be able to answer questions and give moms the most up-to-date info on what’s currently on the market. The fact that local moms voted for us for this award really validates what we do here everyday, and we sincerely appreciate it.”
