  7. I once found a chair identical to the chair I used to take naps in at my great grandpa’s house when I was a toddler. It even smells like my great grandparents’ house, and every time I sit on it, I can reminisce on old, nearly forgotten memories. ๐Ÿ™‚

  23. I {heart} junk! Building a farmhouse in the future and looking for vintage finds!

  24. I have a beautiful vintage hutch in my living room that is unique and my favorite furniture piece in my whole house! When I found it, it was painted an ugly green color. My grandfather and I stripped it, stained it, and he made an amazing base cabinet for it. I LOVE it!!

  26. Found a large hand crocheted tablecloth. Even if no “finds” still love the looking.

  29. Let me just start off by saying that my mother and i have been vintage shopping sience i was little and i enjoy the time we have together while doing so. My favorite vintage item that i had found and puchase. Was 1939 origional oz dolls for my mothers birthday. They were in meant condition and i got a very good deal on the lot of them. My mother truely enjoyed them.

  30. I like vintage-type jewelry, and I have a necklace made from a black typewriter key with my initial in white that I found at a craft fair many years ago. Still wear it! If I were to win a pair of tickets, my sixteen-year old daughter and I would go on the hunt for great finds at this event!!

  39. My favorite vintage find was a large crate on wheels with iron accents that was used as a paper shredder.

  40. Something I would love to find is that perfect, one-of-a-kind surprise for my husband… perhaps an Olde World map, framed? Or maybe something fun for myself, like vintage jewelry! Or possibly a vintage toy that is made from real wood like they used to be so that my son could play with it!

  41. Forgot to say that I made a comment on your FB page and I retweeted your post on Twitter AND I have been and continue to follow you on Pinterest!

  42. Recently I found a lovely leather vintage coach – originally priced around $200 – for only $30! Although the leather was a little worn, I couldn’t pass up such a great and stylish deal! I did a little research and discovered the miracles of Dawn soap on leather, and I completely restored the purse to its original condition with only a few scrubbing sessions. It’s now my go-to purse, and I hope to find more like it at the NWA vintage showcase!

  43. I don’t always find the vintage items that need my tic, but have found great items (repurposed readers digest books, cut metal) that others have transformed! Love the hunt.

  44. My daughter, who is 10, is all into the vintage look. She is wanting to find some furniture to put in her room. It would be so much fun for her and I to go to the Vintage Marketplace to see if we could find fun stuff for her room.

  45. August, 2013 I purchased an antique dresser with a 3 piece mirror. I saved it while I remodeled my parent’s 70 year old house. Now it is my bathroom vanity. I love it. 48. My whole house is decorated in vintage finds but my favorite is my daughters four poster pineapple twin bed — the pineapple comes off one end and the story is that if it is on your pillow it is a sign of welcome and if it is under your pillow it is time to leave! ๐Ÿ™‚
