Giveaway: Tickets to see “Drum Tao” at Walton Arts Center

Moms, this week’s giveaway will give you 4 free tickets to a gorgeous performance called “Drum Tao” at The Walton Arts Center on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. The music is powerful and the incredible performers make it so visually beautiful, too. This would be a great family outing, a double date night, or a chance to take your percussion-loving kids or teens to a show that can show them how the power of music can transform a huge theatre.

Here’s a short sneak peek of this heart-pounding show. It is SO cool!

ABOUT THE SHOW:

Celebrating three decades of Taiko drum performances for more than nine million fans in 26 countries worldwide, Drum Tao brings their high-energy show back to Northwest Arkansas after more than nine years. Powerful drums combine with the physicality of the performers and the beautiful melody of the Japanese shinobue (flute), koto (harp) and syamisen (guitar), creating a spectacle for the senses. The Chicago Tribune hails Drum Tao as “extraordinarily talented percussion artists” with both talent and charm.

HOW TO ENTER:

If you’d love to win the four tickets to see “Drum Tao” on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, scroll down to the bottom of the post and past the comments posted by other local moms.

Then write a quick comment telling us how you (or someone you know) like to play the “air drums.” (We like to play the air drums on the steering wheel when we’re at a stoplight and “We Will Rock You” by Queen comes up on our Spotify playlist. We know other people who are always playing air drums on their legs, their desks, the kitchen counter, the dog’s belly, a summer watermelon, etc.)

A winner will be selected by a random number generator and will be contacted early next week. Watch your inbox!

You can also email your answer to us at giveaways@nwaMotherlode.com.
