My connect-the-dot carpet is healed!

When we moved into our house six years ago, I loved almost everything about the house — except for the carpet in the playroom upstairs. It was still in good shape — no thin spots, carpet fraying, etc. — but there was a series of stains near the entry that looked like somebody played connect-the-dots with grape juice or motor oil or something really dark. Each spot was about the size of a Mr. Potato Head, so they weren’t easy to disguise and I was running out of throw rugs to put over them.

We tried EVERYTHING to get the stains out. They’d fade but never really disappear. Over the past several years, I’ve had the carpets professionally cleaned many times. And the cleaners always got the stains to vanish temporarily, but they always came back in a few days.

Last week I asked Matt Lane from Heaven’s Best Carpet Cleaning to come take his best shot at removing my large, connect-the-dots stains in the playroom. And after he saw them, I was surprised at how confident he seemed about his ability to get them out and keep them out. He even told me that “If the stains come back, I’ll come back, too, and take care of it.”It was the first time I’d heard anybody say that.

I really wish I’d taken a “before” picture so you could appreciate how amazing this “after” shot (on the right) really is. But here is my once-stained carpet — reborn! I swear it looks like it got a whole shade lighter in color. This particular section of the carpet had at least 4 big stains on it one hour before I snapped this shot with my iPhone.

I’m pretty excited because when the floor is clean, the whole room feels clean. And now we feel like we can get at least a few more years’ of use out of this carpet before it’ll need to be replaced. Woo-hoo!

If you need a carpet miracle like I did, I can definitely recommend calling Matt at Heaven’s Best Carpet Cleaning. You can reach him at 479-427-9800. Or check out his website by clicking here.
