Giveaway: Tickets to see Leonardo! A Wonderful Show About a Terrible Monster

Ticket giveaway to Leonardo! A Wonderful Show About a Terrible Monster

Happy Monday, mamas! We’ve got a great outing for you and the kids.  This week we’re giving away FOUR tickets to see a great kids’ show at Walton Arts Center. It’s called Leonardo! A Wonderful Show About a Terrible Monster. The show takes the Walton Arts Center stage at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3,  2022.

ABOUT THE SHOW:

Leonardo is a terrible monster. He tries so hard to be scary, but he just…isn’t. Then Leonardo finds Sam, the most scaredy-cat kid in the world. Will Leonardo finally get his chance to scare the tuna salad out of an unsuspecting human? Or will it be the start of an unlikely friendship?

Adapted from the beloved children’s books by Mo Willems, this hand-made movie by critically-acclaimed multimedia artists Manual Cinema tells the story of a monster who longs to be scary and the hard decisions he has to make about identity and empathy.

This show is recommended for kids ages 5 and up.

HOW TO ENTER:

If you’d love to win these 4 tickets for your family to see Leonardo! A Wonderful Show About a Terrible Monster, scroll down to the bottom of the post and past the comments posted by other local moms.

Then write a quick comment telling us about something that you or your kids find scary. (When my daughter was 4, she was SO scared of bees and wouldn’t ride her tricycle outside because of bees. So we gave her a bicycle bell and told her to ring it when she was riding to scare off the bees. The bell rang ALL THE TIME for an entire summer.)

  1. My kids have an uncle that loves to “scare” them .. They really think it is fun to be scared .. most of the time .. by him 🙂 He loves to put a mask on and jump out or hide and jump out and try to scare them ..

  2. My husband, kids and I like to scare each other. We all scare pretty easily and find it hilarious to make each other scream! We could also add to the list clowns, mice and scary noises during the night. Haha!

  3. My girls love to “surprise” each other by hiding behind doors/walls.

  4. My 9 and 6 yr old daughters are pretty brave, actually braver than my 14yo son who still has a hard time staying in his room at night.
