The signs of back-to-school have started. You can almost sense it in the air – summer is almost over. Make the most of those last few weeks before school starts with some of our suggestions for family fun!

Movie at the Splash Pad

Springdale Parks and Recreation Summer Movie Series returns this Friday, July 27th to the C.L. “Charlie” and Willie George Splash Pad with the showing of ‘Coco’!! All movies in the summer series are FREE to the public. Movies begin at dark and free popcorn will be provided.

Family Glow Ride

Get your glow on and experience Lake Atalanta trails in a fun new way! Decorate your bike with LED lights, add some glow paint to that face, and show off your inner artist! All ages are welcome. There is no online registration or entry fee for this event. Glow accessories and shirts to paint will be available for purchase at the Railyard beginning at 7:00 p.m. There will be local student artists at the Railyard Pavilion to paint your face in glowing colors for $5.

Pokemon Club 

Ages 6-11 are welcome to come share and play with their Pokemon cards on the 4th Saturday of the month at the Bella Vista Library.

Fluid Art Class for Teens

This fluid art class is specifically for teens 13-18. Participants will learn the fundamentals of Fluid Art and will be creating an abstract painting on an 11×14 inch canvas. Light refreshments will also be served at this session. Cost of the class is $35.00 and all supplies are included. Pre-payment for this class is required.

Free Concert – Fayetteville Library

School of Rock presents Summer Season Showcase 

Prepare for an afternoon of rockin’ good music. The Performance and Rock 101 programs will be showcasing a selection of the summer programs at this performance. The staff will also be previewing what they have in store for Fall. (Under 5  free)
