Imagine this: Two fun-loving and silly pirates crash your child’s birthday party. They’re fighting over treasure — like pirates do — but the treasure chest happens to be magically locked.
With the help of the party-goers, and one very special child, the pirates stop fighting, make friends, open up the treasure and share the loot!
The “loot” is personalized goodies that you’ve given those pesky pirates before they crash your party. How fun is that??
Palindrome Pirate Parties is a brand new party service in Northwest Arkansas and as part of their grand opening festivities, they’re offering $75 off all parties in May!
These pirates are professionally trained actors who know how to entertain not only the kids at the party, but will have the parents laughing as well. Palindrome Parties is owned by Paul Savas, who runs Trike Theatre, a not-for-profit cultural arts and education organization based in Bentonville.
Paul moved to Northwest Arkansas in September 2017 to take the Executive Director position at Trike. Palindrome Pirates is his side gig.
“The first time I did this type of party was when living as an actor in Los Angeles — super many years ago,” he said. “I also did these when I lived on the East Coast. The parties are super fun and super unique and so I didn’t see anyone doing pirate/performance-related parties in NWA and saw an opportunity.”
Paul said he loves to bring a surprising event to a kid’s birthday party.
“It’s super fun!” he said. “Also, one of my missions is to give work to local talent. There is never enough work for actors anywhere, let alone a small community like NWA. And any income helps young actors.”
Paul and his pirate friends take their mission seriously: To bring fun and joy to every birthday kid and their friends and family in Northwest Arkansas!
