Giveaway: Tickets to see a kids’ show at Walton Arts Center

Happy Monday, mamas! We’re kicking off the week with a giveaway for FOUR tickets to a fun kids’ show at the Walton Arts Center called Boats.

These tickets are for the 10 a.m. performance on Saturday, May 11, 2013. (There are two other performances of the show later that same day. Tickets to this show are only $5!)

ABOUT THE SHOW: Boats is a story about a man named Jof and his friend Nic. The two life-long friends are sailors who met through bizarre circumstances involving a chicken, a deserted island and a sombrero. They want to escape their past and find new adventure.

Boats is classic storytelling where the magic unfolds in front the audience. The sound effects are created live, a boat is cut from bread, a bird tied from rope, a circus hides in a jacket, and finally a storm is made with a teacup. Boats has acrobatics, object manipulation, a microphone that goes in water and enchanting story telling.

It’s a moving story that leaves a lump in your throat and a smile on your face.
