  5. Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter Hershey’s has decided to discontinue that event in deference to the Bentonville Mayor’s Easter Egg Hunt.

We were sad to see it go, but we have constant struggles with weather, and the attendance was really down last year, so Hershey’s decided to use the resources that went into the egg hunt to support us in other ways. They have actually increased their support. Also, we were unintentionally competing with the Bentonville mayor’s egg hunt, so we are hoping that theirs will be bigger and better this year.
