Happy Monday, mamas! The heat has been so intense lately, so this week we went looking for a recipe that brings its own level of “chill.” This one is perfect because it’s mom and kid-friendly, and most of us already have these ingredients in the kitchen. Parents and kids both love fresh fruit like strawberries and bananas, and those ice cubes are sure to make it nice and cool on these hot summer days. Serve it in some fun cups with a wide straw to make it a special treat.
- 1 pint strawberries, stemmed
- 2 medium bananas, cut into pieces
- 3 ice cubes
- 1/2 cup nonfat strawberry yogurt
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
In blender, combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
