Jody Dilday over at Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas sent us some info about a really cool thing they’re doing on their website: publishing Mother’s Day Tributes!
From now until Mother’s Day, you can honor all the special MOMS in your life (mom, grandma, aunt, sister, wife). You don’t have to be a single mom or have been raised by one to share the love. CLICK HERE to read some of the sweet tributes already submitted or to send one of your own.
If you want to publicly acknowledge your mom or someone dear to you, here’s how:
- Make a gift to SPSF NWA ($10 suggested)
- Email them a digital photo of MOM and say why she’s so special.
- Include mom’s email address or physical address, and they’ll notify her of your tribute
- Check back often to read the tributes to all of the wonderful MOMS!
Not only will this make your mom happy, but you’ll be helping out in your community, too. Last year SPSF helped 160 single moms and dads with over $300,000 in scholarships!
