Green Expo: Win a New Dishwasher!

If you stop by the Northwest Arkansas Green Expo this weekend, be sure to stop at the Metro Builders Supply booth to sign up for a chance to win a new Bosch dishwasher, pictured on the right. It’s one the most energy efficient dishwashers on the market.

Metro is one of many businesses that will be featured at the Green Expo, to be held at the Benton County Fairgrounds on May 8th and 9th. Expo hours will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday.

You’ll find booths, seminars, workshops, smart cars, cooking demos, info on non-toxic lawncare, solar, wind and green remodeling products and more. There will also be locally grown food and plenty of activities for kids. The first 1,000 people who get there will get a free reusable bag, too.

If you have old electronics you’d like to get rid of, there will be an electronics recycling center at the Expo that will take things like printers, keyboards, cell phones, televisions, VCRs, cameras, DVD players, phones and more. Be sure to check the event’s website for details on what electronics you can drop off for recycling.
