Giveaway: Tickets to Star Wars Return of the Jedi in Concert

Attention Star Wars fans (and those of us who love them): This week we’re giving away four tickets to two local moms to see one of the most iconic Star Wars movies on a giant screen at the Walmart AMP while a live orchestra plays the soundtrack during the film. Our fellow Star Wars fanatics will LOVE this chance to see a favorite movie with hundreds of fellow fans while an orchestra brings the music to life on stage. It’s happening on Friday, September 6, 2024. Gates open at 6 p.m., and the movie and music start at 7:30 pm.

Take your kids, use it as a double date, or go with fellow Star Wars fans who love it as much as you do.

ABOUT THE SHOW:

Disney Concerts will present Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in Concert at the Walmart AMP on Friday, Sept. 6. Watch the iconic film while a live orchestra, featuring members of the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, performs composer John Williams’ venerated score live to the film.

Since the release of the first Star Wars movie over 45 years ago, the Star Wars saga has had a seismic impact on both cinema and culture, inspiring audiences around the world with its mythic storytelling, captivating characters, groundbreaking special effects and iconic musical scores composed by Williams.

HOW TO ENTER:

To throw your name in the online hat to win 4 tickets to see Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in Concert on September 6, 2024, scroll down to the bottom of this post (and past the comments posted by other moms) until you see the words “Leave a Reply.”

Then write a quick comment telling us about your (or your family’s) favorite characters or scenes from a Star Wars movie. (I’ve always loved R2-D2 who has such a big personality for a little robot.) You can also email your answer to us at giveaways@nwaMotherlode.com.

We choose winners at random using a random number generator. But if you’d rather not leave it up to the luck of the draw, click here to purchase tickets online.

Purchase tickets and add-ons at www.amptickets.com or by calling 479.443.5600. Purchase in person at the Walmart AMP Box Office 10 am until 5 pm during ticket on-sale days or at the Walton Arts Center Box Office 10 am until 2 pm on weekdays. All concert tickets and add-ons will be delivered digitally. Patrons will access their tickets by logging in at wallet.amptickets.com with the same username or email and password they use to purchase tickets for the Walmart AMP.

  9. Our family LOVES everything Star Wars! It is something we all connect on even though we have different personalities and interests. Music is also a big part of our family so the music in Star Wars is special to us. One of our favorite scenes is Dual of the Fates in Episode I.

  10. When Luke finds out Darth Vader is his father and Leia is his sister. I still remember being in shock. Love that scene.

  12. Star Wars was the first movie my son and I truly connected on. Being a single mom and raising a boy is tough when they get to an age they need a dad for the “man” things. I remember watching the movie with him and he was so intrigued with the space and the ships. He loved Boba Fett and went as him for Halloween 3 years in a row. To be able to experience the movie with a live orchestra would be amazing because he is now 15 and school band going on his 4th year. Music is a huge part of his life!

  19. Would love to see this with my son. He and I are in the process of watching all of the Star War movies but he is also a musician, so attending this together would mean so much to both of us!

  20. My husband and kiddos would love this! They love all things Star Wars, but especially all of the droids.

  23. The wedding scene because I’ve been to a wedding at the exact same location in Lake Como, Italy. Of an LA movie producer of course. You can only get there by boat and it’s ethereal. Here’s hoping the winner hasn’t been drawn yet bc I won Barbie concert tickets and they cancelled the show 😭
