Giveaway: Tickets to Empire Strikes Back screening and concert at the AMP

Star Wars fans, rejoice! Grab your favorite fellow fan because Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in Concert is coming to the Walmart AMP on September 8, 2023, at 7:30 p.m.! It’s the feature film we all know and love plus a live symphony concert playing the soundtrack on stage.

We’re giving 2 local moms FOUR lawn tickets to see the show. Time to throw your name into the online drawing!

ABOUT THE SHOW:

Disney Concerts presents Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back live in concert. Watch the iconic film while a live orchestra, featuring members of the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, performs John Williams’ iconic score.

Since the release of the first Star Wars movie over 40 years ago, the saga has had a seismic impact on both cinema and culture, inspiring audiences around the world with its mythic storytelling, captivating characters, groundbreaking special effects and iconic musical scores composed by Williams.

The battle for the galaxy intensifies in this thrilling fifth episode of the unfolding saga. As Imperial Forces launch an all-out attack on the Rebel Alliance, Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) flee to Cloud City where they are captured by Darth Vader. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) journeys to the mysterious, marshy planet of Dagobah, where the wise Jedi Master Yoda teaches the young hero the ways of the force.

  3. We love all of the Star Wars movies. My favorite Star Wars memory is Christmas morning when my daughter was three. She got a storm trooper mask and light saber and spent the whole morning attacking all of our furniture.

  4. My son was four and broke his leg, but wanted to have a Star Wars birthday party. Even though he couldn’t do all the fun things (Light Saber matches, dress in costume, etc) in a wheelchair, he has alwasy been a fan and would love to go!

  5. I have a family friend that loves Star Wars. This would be a great gift for them!!

  6. My husband has been a Star Wars fan since he was 5 years old. He would freak out if I was able to get tickets to this event. He is a huge fan. Quiz him on anything Star Wars and he will know the answer. This would be an event he would always remember.

  7. Saw this in the theater when i was young! Of course love the music! And I always loved when Han Solo gets frozen .. Just made my heart melt 🙂

  11. Our entire family loves Star Wars! We introduced our kids this summer to the movies and it is the theme for family Halloween costumes. We’d love to win these tickets and see the show!

  13. Star Wars, anything Star Wars, is a treat for our family. We are huge fans and the 3 kids would be so thrilled to be able to attend this event. It would be a memory never to forget. They would all flip out!
