Tickets to Digging Up Arkansas at Walton Arts Center
Happy Monday, mamas! Ready for a fun giveaway to a great show your kids will love? Don’t tell them this in advance, but they might actually learn a little history about Arkansas, too. But don’t worry because the history is wrapped in a lot of fun along the way.
This week we’re giving away FOUR tickets to the performance of Digging Up Arkansas at the Walton Arts Center. The tickets are for the 2 p.m. performance happening on Saturday, January 22, 2022. (There is a second performance at 4 p.m. that same day.)
The show is perfect for kids who are 9 or older.
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Three Works Progress Administration workers have been sent to Arkansas to present its history to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Along the way, the train rocks some of their crates loose. Now everything is out of order and their notes are wet!
Can they work together to re-write their presentation of Arkansas’ history using all of the items in the crates? Digging Up Arkansas is an educational play that uses artifacts, songs, stories and student participation to teach Arkansas history from the year 1000-1936.
