Gifts for Guys in Northwest Arkansas

Rock City Outfitters

Left: Arkansas Sunset Hoodie

We love this new Arkansas Sunset Hoodie so much that we may just “accidentally” buy our husbands a size that’s technically too small so we can have it for ourselves. As long-time fans of Rock City shirts, we can already tell you that the fabric on this thing is like butter — so soft and warm that he won’t want to take it off (even after he drops a chicken wing on it). The timeless design on this hoodie is reminiscent of an Arkansas sunset just beyond the tree line. Classic and cool — can’t beat that combination. Cost is $39.99.  Click here for more info.

Right: AR Trees Hat (Ocean Blue and Amber Gold)

If your guy is the type who likes to grab a cap on his way out the door, this may just become his new favorite. We LOVE the color combination on this particular version of the Arkansas Trees Hat — the Ocean Blue next to Amber Gold. But there are two other color combinations — one with more neutral colors and also a lighter blue version. The back of the hat is a fully adjustable Pacific brand snapback. Cost is $24.99. Click here for more info.

Where to shop: You’ll find Rock City Outfitters shirts in stores around the state and in local festivals and shows. Rock City Outfitters will also have a huge booth at the Northwest Arkansas Boutique Show on November 17th and 18th. (That’s where we usually stock up on our favorite Rock City tees.) But you can always find the FULL line of shirts on the company’s website, which is super easy to shop and navigate. Click here to check it out.

Where to see more: Keep up with Rock City’s newest styles (including hats as well as shirts for women and kids) by following them on social media, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest.

Scott Frame and Art

Left: ARZ Steel jewelry for men

Why should women have all the fun when it comes to unique jewelry? This line of ARZ Steel jewelry for men has a slightly edgy, cool vibe that’s decidedly masculine. It’s made with the highest grade of stainless steel so it’s built to last. We especially love the braided leather bracelets that have a hint of steel on the clasp. We recommend going by the shop to see this collection in person so you can get a feel for the quality of each piece. Cost varies based on size and style.

Right: Duke Cannon soaps and more

Our  husbands are devoted fans of the Duke Cannon line-up of grooming essentials for men. (The owner of Scott Frame and Art is, too!) Sometimes men get sick of all the girly products taking up space in the shower and they want something that’s just for them. Not only are these products geared toward guys, the quality is top-notch. (We’ve been known to borrow our husbands’ hand cream because it just works better.)

This small artisan company makes products in the United States and also gives back to the men and women serving our country. A portion of the company’s proceeds directly support four different Veteran causes, which means this company has a local impact here in Northwest Arkansas. Prices for Duke Cannon items range from $9.50 to $31 (and these gifts are definitely man-sized!)

Where to shop: We love the distinctively local vibe of each Scott Frame and Art location. We always find artwork (including local photographs and Razorback prints) that we fall in love with when we’re in the shop. Scott Frame and Art is located at 2603 W. Pleasant Grove Road in Rogers. (Store number is 696-8263.) They also have a Fayetteville location at 100 E. Joyce Blvd. (Store number is 479-443-7262.) In 2018, they added a new Bentonville store located at 100 SW 14th Street. (Store number is 479-464-7714.)  Click here for a map to each store location.
