Picnic in the Park in Downtown Springdale
Picnic in the Park is a new four-week series designed to transform Luther George Park into Downtown Springdale’s place to gather, unwind, and enjoy good food, good music, and good company. There’ll be a giant community picnic pblanket stretching across the lawn, creating one shared space where strangers become neighbors, friends reconnect and Downtown Springdale becomes a place to stay awhile. Bring your own picnic or grab lunch from a local food vendor. A different local DJ will provide music each week.

Funday Sunday at The Jones Center in Springdale
Come play with your family and neighbors! Funday Sunday is a special afternoon of free activities, usually taking place the second Sunday of every month. Take advantage of our indoor pools and ice rink as we rotate between free ice skating or swimming – or sometimes both!

Art Everywhere at Crystal Bridges Museum
As part of Crystal Bridges’ 114,000 square foot expansion, the museum has launched a new public art initiative aimed at expanding the role of contemporary art on its campus. Art Everywhere transforms unexpected areas into immersive art experiences, blurring the boundaries between collection galleries and the transitional spaces that connect them. Through site-responsive commissions by ten artists, Art Everywhere activates high-traffic and unconventional locations throughout Crystal Bridges and the Momentary, including hallways, stairwells, elevators, crosswalks, and even restrooms, and invites visitors to encounter art in new, memorable ways.

Art on the Square Expansion in Downtown Bentonville
Check out the Art on the Square Elevation, the newly expanded upper-level gallery overlooking the downtown Bentonville Square.

Time: 11am to 7pm Mondays through Thursdays; 11am to 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays; 11am to 5pm on Sundays

Tail Waggin’ Reads: Read to a therapy dog at the Rogers Library
Tail Waggin’ Reads is a group that meets on alternating Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 – 6:00 pm. The public is welcome to come to the library and get cozy with Ella, a certified therapy dog, while you read her a story! Children will be able to take turns reading out loud to Ella in the Children’s Library.

Washington County Fair in Fayetteville
Mark your calendars! Arkansas’ largest county fair will be hosted in Fayetteville from August 25-29, 2026.
