Attention Jurassic Park fans (and those of us who love them): This week we’re giving away four tickets to two local moms to see one of the most iconic special effect movies — Jurassic Park — on a giant screen at the Walmart AMP while a live orchestra plays the soundtrack during the film. Dinosaur-loving kids and parents will LOVE this chance to see a favorite movie with hundreds of fellow fans while an orchestra brings the music to life on stage. It’s happening on Friday, September 5, 2025. Gates open at 6 p.m., and the movie and music start at 7:30 pm.
Take your kids, use it as a double date, or go with fellow Jurassic Park fans who love it as much as you do.

My favorite scene is probably when they see the park and dinosaurs for the first time.
The iconic scene when the Trex squares off against the velociraptors, allowing them to escape was always a favorite (coupled with Ian’s line. “Think they’ll have that on the tour?”).
I love the scene in the kitchen with the velociraptors.
Not sure about a favorite scene, but my daughter loves dinosaurs, still at age 15, completely enamored by them. She would love this show!

We’ve watched all the movies as a family over the years. My 9 year old loves the mosasaurus and the new hybrid D-Rex. Looks just like something he would create while drawing and using his imagination.
Dr. Settler is great at acting terrified. She does a good job when the TRex is chasing the jeep!
