On Saturday, Sept. 18th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., United Way is partnering with Masons & Liberty Bank to host “Storybook Runway,” a fundraiser for United Way to begin a new initiative that benefits early childhood learning – the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which provides enrolled children with a new, age-appropriate book each month from ages 0-5, for only $25/year!

The event is a new take on the “LIVE UNITED” fashion show United Way has done for 2 years now at the Masons store on Joyce – this year’s event is all about kids. All children are encouraged to dress up as their favorite storybook character. The fashion show will feature children dressed up as their favorite storybook characters and their parents in LIVE UNITED tees. There will also be face painting, photo opportunities with storybook characters, coloring, food, etc. VIP tickets are $125 and will sponsor one child in the program for 5 years. The first 50 people to purchase VIP tickets will receive front row seating and goodie bag. General admission tickets are $25 and will sponsor one child in the program for one year. Children under 12 years get in free. All proceeds will go towards launching the program in Northwest Arkansas.
