Giveaway: Nickelodeon hits the Walton Arts Center!

Tickets for this show range in price from $18.50 to $32.50, depending on where you sit. We’ve got a family pack of FOUR TICKETS to give away to one lucky mom for the show on Tuesday, ni-hao-kai-lan.jpgMarch 23rd at 6:30 p.m. Plus, this ticket package includes a “meet-and-greet” with the show characters!   4. My fave cartoon was the original Bugs Bunny cartoons. I used to watch them every Saturday Morning! My son’s favorite is the Wonder Pets and he would absolutely love to see them live!!!

  5. My favorite cartoon as a child was either Strawberry Shortcake or Rainbow Brite 🙂 and my kiddos LOVE Phineas and Ferb (Their daddy and I love it as well-very cute cartoon!)

  6. I loved the Smurfs! My child on the other hand is hooked on Baby Einsteins and Thomas the train! All things are right with the world if he’s watching one of those!

  7. I thought Strawberry Shortcake was awesome. But, my little girls LOVES Dora and my son is fascinated by Chuggington. The house is quiet when they get to watch these two shows. :o)

    And Miss Marti Pearl’s is the same! She’s been wearing out the VCR with the old tapes and requests it every single day.

  11. As a kid my favorite cartoon was easily Jem and the Holograms. They were so great! My kids love all the boys stuff but as far as Nick goes we all love the Backyardigans.

  13. My favorite cartoon as a kid would probably be either the Smurfs or Carebears. I know I liked them both. As for what my daughter likes… I would have to say Veggie Tales. She is 10 months old and will sit through an entire DVD and watch! I just wish I could get her to sit still more often! ha!

  27. Honestly, we didn’t have hardly any channels, so I don’t remember watching many cartoons. In later elementary school and junior high, I looooooved Disney movies (who didn’t?). My daughter’s favorite is “Word Girl” on PBS!

  29. As a kid I loved the Alvin and the Chipmunks so when they came to the big screen recently I enjoyed it so much with my two kiddos! My kids are huge Dora fans and would so love this opportunity to see them live!!

  40. My parents did not have a tv when I was young; however, I had a Jungle Book tape and book that I loved to listen to. My daughter’s favorite show is Diego.

  43. My favorite cartoon as a kid was Rainbow Brite! She had the coolest, most ecclectic outfits! (I can’t forget to mention Care Bears) I love when my kids watch the cartoons that I used to love. Such a blast from the past! Although they are more into all of the computer animated stuff now. Who knows what will be around for our grandkids! My daughters both love Dora. My oldest would watch tv all day if I let her, and isn’t picky about waht is on, but my youngest is obsessed with Dora. It is the only show she will sit still for and last week she told me she had a dream that Dora was calling her “swipey”. Oh, and when she wants to be really mean to me, she will look at me with evil eyes and call me a sneaky fox.

  44. I loved Bugs Bunny and Smurfs as a kid. My daughter who is 1 loves Dora which she lovingly calls Boots. We have 2 GIANT stuffed Dora’s that she drags everywhere with her. Way cute. My oldest daughter likes the Backyardigans best. She likes basically anything with singing. There is a lot of dancing and singing at our house.

    I have granddaughters that would really love to see this show. One of my grandaughters’ birthday is March 29th. This would be a great birthday present for her.

  55. Oh how I really want these tickets! My favorite character growing up had to be Jem or She-Ra and my 2-yr’s old’s (current) favorites are Yo Gabba Gabba and Dora. My 2-yr old nephew who visits my brother 4 wks a year from Colorado will be here during that week, so it would be just perfect!!

  58. Oh goodness! How does a kid pick a favorite?? I would say I probably liked the Smurfs the best as a kid. My kids like all kinds of cartoons, but right now, Jessalyn’s fave is Kailan, and Isaac’s fave is Penguins of Madagascar. 🙂 We only have videos and the computer to watch cartoons on at the moment, so our selection is more limited than it once was.

  87. My son LOVES all these characters and remebers each and every one – he’s 3 1/2, 4 in May. I’m very excited this is coming to the Walton Arts Center.

Mickey Mouse has been my all time favorite since I was three years old, and now it’s my three year old son’s favorite….he loves MM Clubhouse! It’s fun to have those connections with my kids!

  89. Okay-my favorite cartoon as a kid-that is a tough decision! I loved all the girlie ones for sure-Rainbow Brite ranked pretty high, but I also had a love for He-Man and G.I. Joe! My daughter loves cartoons period, although Dora was her favorite for quite awhile, until her baby brother came along and fell in love with all her Dora stuff! He is seriously in love with Dora and sleeps with a Dora blanket he stole from his big sister! Spongebob is his other favorite-sadly “Spongebob” and “Dora” were two of his first words!

  99. My favorite show as a child was the smurfs! We never had cable so our choices were limited but I thought the smurfs rocked! my 4 year old is of course addicted to Dora!

  100. My favorite was always the Looney Tunes. My son LOVES the Backyardigans and Yo Gabba Gabba. Every morning he grabs the remote and points it at the tv and says ‘dabbadabba dabbbbbba!’ (Yo Gabba Gabba) 🙂

  101. I loved so many cartoons as a child but the first one that comes to my mind is Rainbow Brite and my son loves Thomas the Tank Engine and ALL of his Railway Friends.
