Outings Under $20: Free Dive-In & Splash Pad movie nights in Springdale

Springdale Parks and Recreation is hosting a free summer movie series at the splash pad at C.L. “Charlie” & Willie George Park and at the Springdale Aquatic Center. These events are FREE to the community — and there’s also free popcorn.

Gates at the Aquatic Center will open at 7:30. Movies begin at dusk. Please bring chairs to the movies at the splash pad (it will be open for kids to play while the movie is running).

DESPICABLE ME 3

Synopsis:
Illumination, who brought audiences Despicable Me and the biggest animated hits of 2013 and 2015, Despicable Me 2 and Minions, continues the adventures of Gru, Lucy, their adorable daughters—Margo, Edith and Agnes—and the Minions in Despicable Me 3. Trey Parker voices the role of villain Balthazar Bratt, a former child star who’s grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the ‘80s, and proves to be Gru’s most formidable nemesis to date.

A young octopus and his pals embark on a journey across the ocean to find a new home after their habitat is destroyed. Along the way, they make new friends and encounter dangerous predators.
