treeToyland at Bentonville’s First Friday

Walmart toy vendors come in from around the country to showcase their new toy lines, offering a unique opportunity for Northwest Arkansas citizens and beyond to get a sneak peak at Santa’s Christmas list. Live music, food and kid’s activities are included in this event. This event is sponsored in part by Walmart and the Walmart Museum.

NWA Boutique Show

Shop over 150 merchants featuring thousands of one-of-a-kind and custom items!  Home decor, gifts, clothing, gourmet food, holiday decor, children’s items, art and more. The mamas will be at a booth with a “cool” giveaway! We hope you stop by and see us while you’re shopping over the weekend. It’s a GREAT event and we’re proud to be a sponsor again this year. NWA Veteran’s Day Parade

Local women’s veterans will be Grand Marshals this year and right after them will be our WWII vets whose day got rained out last year.  There will be interactive stations for kids as well as a meet and greet your WWII veterans in the town center square an hour prior to the parade. Parade will start on Mountain around Church Ave and Mountain.  It will go around the square and finish at Locust Ave and W. Center St.  Once again, we will feature local area school bands, vintage cars, motorcycles, the Ozark Highlander Pipe Band, local youth and civic groups, and most importantly – local area veterans and military units.

Lighting of the Square, Bentonville

The Lighting of the Square brings the Bentonville Community together to celebrate the beginning of the Holiday season. Live music, hot food, and mingling about the Square create a festive atmosphere.

Holiday Hoopla

Holiday HooplaSanta arrives that evening (Nov. 30)  in a very special way, which must be seen to be believed; lighted Holidays Around the World parade on Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.; Open Late ’til 8 every Thursday after Thanksgiving through Christmas; special shopping night just the ladies on Dec. 5 and one for men on Dec. 19; cocktails with Santa on Dec. 12; Santa visits every Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; Holiday Movie (The Polar Express) is at the Victory Theater on Dec. 21 with special treats and visits with Santa, tickets available online.

Rogers Christmas Parade

Who doesn’t love a parade? Especially a sparkly, musical, sugary Christmas Parade! Nearly 100 floats, marching bands, decorated cars, scouts, dogs, choirs and kids take part each year in this extra-special event – each covered with bright Christmas lights! Expect a blizzard of fake “snow” on this year’s entries as they all try to win one of the four special awards for the theme “Winter Wonderland.”
