Laughter and Libations — Mardi Gras edition
This fundraiser for Trike Theater helps support youth theater programs in Northwest Arkansas. This adults-only event will feature local food, music and more.

Join in celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday in the Children’s Library. There will be a performance by the Cat in the Hat, face painting, and birthday cake, of course.

Dr. Seuss’ Birthday Celebration
You’ll go to many places, including the Scott Family Amazeum. Stop by between March 2-4 to celebrate the man that brought you green eggs and ham and your favorite hat wearing cat. There will be Seuss inspired pop-ups for all three days, whimsy and fun behind every corner.

Model Train Show for Kids, young and old
Kids can be the engineer as miniature locomotives chug around the tracks on elaborately designed layouts. All types of model trains will be on display.

Come celebrate Arkansas Archeology Month at the Rogers Historical Museum. Dr. Melissa Zabecki, Outreach Coordinator for the Arkansas Archeological Survey will be discussing sites from both the recent and distant path, which will include the dig at Leetown, the Bluff sites, and much more.

Fun out in the country. $1 for kids $2 for adults to fly, free to park and free to watch. Military (active or retired) and their families fly for free. Food for sale in the Hospitality Tent by the Friends of Prairie Grove Pound. Kites for sale $1-$12 and a Kite Hospital to assemble and repair your kite. Many volunteers to help fly your kite. 50 cent raffle (each person may only purchase one 50 cent ticket) for large nylon kites at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00. There are also numerous small prizes awarded during the day for totally frivolous categories. The fun starts at noon and goes until the last kite comes down, usually around 5. There is also an EMT on site.

Kiss a Pig Gala features fine cuisine, live and silent auction, and entertainment as community leaders vie for the chance to kiss a pig to recognize it for producing the first source of insulin for people with diabetes.

Enjoy a preschool gallery tour, costume creation, and imaginative play inspired by Crystal Bridges hero-filled special exhibition Men of Steel, Women of Wonder. Playdate starts with a performance in the Great Hall.
