Who isn’t thinking about money right now? The lack of it, how to save it, how to manage it. Well, we’ve teamed up with some women who are going to help us clear a path through the clutter and share ways we can recover and strengthen our financial futures.
So consider yourself officially invited to join us for the Moms’ Money Makeover Forum. The vital info:
- Who: You!
- When: Monday, November 16, 7-8:30 p.m.
- Where: Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, 123 W. Mountain St., downtown Fayetteville (Benton County mamas, carpool!)
- Why: Because no matter what your financial picture looks like, the Moms’ Money Makeover Forum will help you get off to a strong start in 2010!
Rhonda Porter of Merrill Lynch will be there to offer some of her best tips for building and protecting your finances — and share ideas you might not have thought about before. We know Rhonda and she’s a young, energetic financial planner who’s dedicated to helping women fine-tune their financial health. Who couldn’t use that?
This forum won’t involve a long-winded presentation that’ll have you falling asleep after 20 minutes. We’re going to do what girls do best — talk and share (with snacks on hand). You’ll have the opportunity to discuss your concerns, ideas and questions and hear about how fellow moms are holding things together in their own homes. Catherine Dilbert-Wright of the National Association of Mothers’ Centers and Corinna Dranow, LPC, who is creating a Mothers’ Center in Northwest Arkansas, will be there to help facilitate the group discussion.
So join the Motherlode mamas on Monday night and let’s talk money, honey!
