Giveaway: Tickets to see Polar Express at Walton Arts Center

Ticket giveaway to see “The Polar Express” movie screening at Walton Arts Center

Mamas, we love to snuggle up with our kids and watch a great Christmas movie. If that sounds good to you, too, throw your name in the online hat for this week’s giveaway — a chance to get FOUR tickets to a screening of “The Polar Express” at the Walton Arts Center at 3 p.m. on December 23, 2021.

You and the whole family can put on your pajamas and enjoy hot chocolate, a photo with Santa and a special screening of this family-favorite Christmas movie about a young boy on an extraordinary ride to the North Pole.

Based on the beloved children’s book, The Polar Express tells the story of Billy, who longs to believe in Santa Claus but finds it quite difficult to do so, what with his family’s insistence that all of it – from the North Pole, to the elves, to the man himself – is just a myth. But this all changes on Christmas Eve, when a mysterious train visits Billy in the middle of the night, promising to take him and a group of lucky children to the North Pole for a visit with Santa – a trip that helps turn Billy’s crisis-in-faith into a journey of self-discovery.

This movie is great for all ages, and this would be a fun holiday tradition to start with your family.

  1. We just watched The Boy Called Christmas on Netflix, and it was really cute!

  2. Watched “It’s a wonderful life”with my daughter-in-law, for the first time when she was brand new to our family two years ago. I love to watch it every year and loved seeing the joy and wonder in her eyes as she watched George discover Christmas in a real way!

  3. The Family Stone is so good! It’s older and I just saw it for the first time!

  4. I love The Holiday. Reading The Polar Express to my kids is a favorite tradition.

  5. My son and I have enrolled I. The Christmas movie challenge to watch one Christmas movie a day beginning on Dec.15, The Pilot
express is in our list for the 20th, maybe we can move it to Dec. 23rd 😃

  6. Polar Express and Home Alone are two we watch every year but we love all Christmas movies and love the tradition of seeing how many we can watch, each year!

  7. There is no better Christmas movie than Dr. Seuss’ “How The Grinch Stole Christmas”. Obviously, the one with Jim Carrey playing the Grinch!
    Merry Christmas all!

  8. Growing up, we always watched White Christmas while decorating our tree– such fun songs and dancing!

  9. White Christmas is our all time favorite! We have all the Christmas movies on DVD and start watching the day after Thanksgiving. I only have two of my eleven grandkids local and I would love to take them to see this.

  10. My favorite holiday movie is A Christmas Story. For years at my Dad’s house on Xmas day we would play it nonstop of TBS. Now I watch it on DVD with my kids. (Old school)
