In need of a fun Girls’ Night Out or date night?

Then you’ll need some tickets to see Kinky Boots at Walton Arts Center! We’ve got ya covered.

The show runs Tuesday, Jan. 19 to Sunday, Jan. 24, and the winner and her date will score tickets to the opening night show.

Charlie Price is struggling to live up to his father’s expectations and continue the family business of Price & Sons. With the factory’s future hanging in the balance, help arrives in the unlikely but spectacular form of Lola, a fabulous performer in need of some sturdy new stilettos.

With direction and choreography by two-time Tony® Award winner Jerry Mitchell (Legally Blonde, Hairspray) and a book by Broadway legend and four-time Tony® Award winner Harvey Fierstein (La Cage Aux Folles), KINKY BOOTS is the winner of six Broadway Tony® Awards including Best Musical, Best Score and Best Choreography.

  4. My favorite pair of boots are, alas, no more! I remember that I laid eyes on a pair of burgundy leather over-the-knee Puss-in-boots style of boots, with high heels, and I just about fainted. I mean, I love shoes, but I never went ga ga about a pair of shoes before or since, then when I fell in love with those boots. It was 1978. The boots were $75, but I had to have them. I think it wiped out all of my savings, but I didn’t care.

    I didn’t know much back then, like that you could have the boots stretched out in strategic places if necessary. I guess the ball of my foot was wider than the boot and by the end of the day at school, I would be in almost crippling pain, but I never even considered taking off those boots or not wearing the boots. I didn’t care.

    While today, I usually pick comfort over style, it actually made my heart skip a beat to think about those boots of yesteryear! Still my top ranking favorite shoes of all time. I think I’m going over to Zappos and see if I can order another pair. Mama needs a lift in her gray January spirit!

    By the way, I’d love tickets to Kinky Boots! I’ve been wanting to see this musical since I heard of it! Thanks so much for pulling these offers together.

  5. My favorite shoes right now are my black winter boots. They are easy to slip on, keep my feet warm in the cold weather, and they are comfortable!

  8. I want to see this SO bad!! My favorite pair of shoes are my orange strappy Bandolino wedges .. I love them in the summertime with sundresses!!

  14. My favorite shoes are my Ahnu sandals–better than most tennis shoes for walking around all day! I bought three pairs just in case they discontinue them!

  17. My favorites are a pair of suede booties with a slight heel and zipper/metal accents. Sexy, a little edgy, and not even uncomfortable!!

  18. I saw a pair of deep red patent leather heels at Dillard’s and my hearts did a double flip! They reminded me somewhat of Dorithys ruby slippers in The Wizard of Oz but all grown up! Best part is they were so comfortable! I’d love to win these tickets so I could take one of my best friends who just lost her dad to Alzheimer’s this month. Except for having to go out of town for a funeral or if she was contagiously sick she never missed a day going to see her daddy. She would take him his favorite diet Dr Pepper from Sonic and help him relearn to suck on the straw each day. She loves him so much and even though he was 93 and they had and long life together she misses his terribly. I’d love to take her to this and lift her spirits! She’s a truly amazing woman and would do anything to help anyone. I love her dearly and would love to have a fun night on the town to make her laugh and maybe not think of her heartache for a while.   20. I’m more of a summer gal so my Steve Madden Espadrille Wedges are my faves and the ones I’ve just about worn out! Only a few more months until those summer shoes can come back out of hiding!! 🙂

  35. My favorite pair of shoes are a pair I never wear. I have a pair of sea-foam green heels that my mother wore before she had me. As a child I would play dress up in them. I have loved those shoes since I can remember. When my mother passed siblings began dividing her personal belongings- I wanted a pair of her favorite sweat pants, a favorite flannel and those heels. I will probably take them to the grave with me. ❤️
