If you’re making plans for the July 4th weekend, mark your calendar for the big fireworks show at the Arkansas Music Pavillion (AMP) at the Northwest Arkansas Mall in Fayetteville on July 2nd. The MDA Central Casting Studios student show team will perform two shows of “Made In the USA“, that includes some of the greatest songs in American “pop” history. The first show starts at 11 a.m., if you’d like to see it before the fireworks crowd begins to gather. Attendance at the fireworks show is expected to be in the thousands!
The second show starts at 7:30 p.m and will be followed by the National Anthem and a United States Military Color Guard just before the big fireworks show. You can also hear it on Magic 107.9.
Keep in mind this is a FREE family event (no liquor), and you can bring lawn chairs and blankets and stay all day if you like. There will be kids’ play areas set up. There will also be lots of refreshments available for purchase, and you’ll have a chance to see lots of local talent perform at the AMP throughout the day.
Be sure to catch these other performances at the AMP during the day on July 2nd:
- Papa Dave Chiodo and the Soul Deep Rhythm Section (playing selections from their Blue Jazz album)
- Talent from the Walton Arts Center
- Amanda Cramer (new recording artist)
