It’s time to sign up for the Summer Reading Club at the Fayetteville Public Library!
Registrations starts today for kids, teens and adults! Click here to pop over to the library’s website and sign up!
See this little guy on the right? His name is Dig and he’s going to be the mascot for this year’s Summer Reading Club. Isn’t he adorable?
You can sign up for the club ONLINE or in person at the Fayetteville Public Library. If you happen to be out at Fayetteville’s First Thursday event on the Square tomorrow night (May 2) you can stop by the library’s tent and sign up. DJ Paparap, sponsored by FPL, will be there at 5:45 p.m. and librarians will be handing out free whistle keychains. Whistle, hoot!
Remember: Summer Reading Club is not just for kids! There’s an adult version, too. And did we mention the prizes? Yep, when you accumulate enough reading time, you can win free prizes like silly masks and pencils (for kids) and flashlight bookmarks (for the grown-ups!). And you’ll automatically be entered to win some BIG prizes, too.
In addition to the Summer Reading Club, the Fayetteville Public Library has TONS of amazing events scheduled for the summer for all ages. Check out all this FPL goodness (Please note that the *asterisk means registration is required. Visit the FPL Calendar for more information about those events):
