Doc Talk: What to expect with teething

doctalk1

It’s one of those big milestones in a baby’s life — the first tooth. We mamas love to show off that shiny new tooth because it’s a symbol that our sweet baby is starting to grow up.

But we all know that teething sometimes comes along with some not-so-fun symptoms. What should you expect when your baby starts teething and how should you handle the possible symptoms?

Click the video “play” button below to see Dr. Joy Hill talk about what parents need to know about their baby’s teething and what symptom might indicate that the baby might need to see a doctor.

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Hill, call the Mercy Pediatric Clinic at 479-636-9234. It’s located at 3101 SE 14th St. in Bentonville, just off Interstate 540.

Doc Talk is a bi-monthly feature made possible by the doctors and nurses of Mercy Health, who are generous with their time and provide video answers to questions submitted by local mothers.
