Calling all campers (including first-timers)! Mark your calendar for the upcoming third annual Community Campout at The Jones Center on September 5-6, 2025. It’s tie to sleep out under the stars with your family.
This event is perfect for those new to camping and eager to learn how to pitch a tent and survive in the wilderness. There will be educational pop-ups featuring kids’ crafts and nature exploration. The Jones Center staff will be there to assist you and ensure your camping experience is enjoyable.
Your camping adventure will include campfire cooking, s’mores, stories around the campfire, outdoor games, live music, and more. Whether you love camping or haven’t ever tried it before, this event is for you.

WHEN: Friday, Sept. 5, 6pm – Saturday, Sept. 6, 10am
WHO: All ages; 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult
WHERE: North Community Park at the Jones Center
COST: $50 non-member/$40 member per-campsite.

Campsites accommodate up to 6 people. You can choose a tent size while registering, while inventory is available. Options are 2-person, 4-person or 6-person. You can also bring your own if you prefer!

o Dinner: Hotdogs (condiments & toppings included), chips. Vegan food options available. Request at registration. Sodas and additional items available for purchase.
o Dessert: Make your own S’mores!
