Art exhibit: Autumn Brown. Dichotomy: Perception versus Truth.
Fiber artist Autumn Brown explores the contradiction of truth and the perception of truth she faces in everyday life. Her “roles” in life seem to be at a constant state of tension, always warring between who she is and who she feels she should be. Brown has found some solace through her art work, where she mixes soft fiber materials, representing the sweetness of life, with hard metal materials, representing the harsh reality of life and ourselves. Brown hopes the viewer will connect with her on some level while viewing her collection of art clothing and art quilts.
