About the school: Providence Academy is an independent, non-denominational, college-preparatory academy, utilizing classical methodology. The academy operates on a unique schedule known as the University-Model School®, meaning students are on campus two days at the Grammar level and three days at the Upper School.
Providence Academy’s not affiliated with any one church, and there are more than 90 churches represented within the school population. The average ACT score for graduates is 27, and the top 25% of the Class of 2019 averaged 32.

What’s new at Providence?
Our new Head of Grammar School, Chelsea Abbott, is dynamic and has started a STEM bin program. STEM Bins can be checked out on a weekly basis for students to use at home. They provide an open-ended and developmentally appropriate foundation of engineering for students, plus they’re SUPER FUN and engaging!
We have also added robots that students can code and microscopes to our selection of check out materials. We are providing the materials and experiences for our students to fall in love with STEM!
