Mark your calendar, Northwest Arkansas mamas! In early May, Theatre Collective of Northwest Arkansas (TCNWA) will present a production of Love, Loss, And What I Wore by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron. This heartwarming and hilarious play follows the lives of several women and explores love, loss, and the memories woven into our clothes.
The playrights, sisters Nora and Delia Ephron, also wrote blockbuster movie scripts, including “When Harry Met Sally,” “Sleepless in Seattle,” “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” “You’ve Got Mail,” and “Hanging Up.”
Love, Loss, And What I Wore is a tapestry of stories from a collection of unforgettable women. From hilarious anecdotes to poignant reflections, the play delves into the universal experiences of love, loss, friendship, and self-discovery.
Following the success of their recent production of Risque Cabaret, Theatre Collective of NWA continues to champion women’s voices and highlight the extraordinary female talent in Northwest Arkansas.
“We wanted to do Love, Loss, And What I Wore to continue showcasing the power of female storytellers,” said artistic director Stephanie Whitcomb. “As a non-musical, this show allows the stories and memories of these characters to truly shine. We hope our future holds many more shows that celebrate and empower women in our community.”
