Newly re-opened authentic Asian restaurant offers menu for kids, too

chopsticks_18002_sm.gifWe recently heard some restaurant buzz about the newly re-opened Asian Fusion in Fayetteville, officially under new management since Jan. 30. Specifically, it’s getting some great reviews from local moms.

If you enjoy authentic Indian, Chinese, Thai, Japanese and Malaysian food, check out the restaurant, located at 701 South School Avenue, 479-444-0006. Their entrees range from Mom’s Chicken Soup to Char Kuay Teow (stir fried flat rice noodle) to Tofu Delight. If you’ve got picky eaters in tow, Asian Fusion has a children’s menu that offers fish sticks, cheese sticks or chicken breast tenders for $3.99 including a French fries and a small drink.

Co-owner Vicky Rajen is from Malaysia (Southeast Asia) and attended the University of Arkansas for a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She’s currently finishing up her MBA there.

“I’m hoping to finish by end of June this year. I have two girls, Brenda, 4, and Verena, 3,” she said. “I learned to cook from my mom who’s an excellent cook.”
