Speaking of being “truly blessed,” you MUST see this video I saw recently on Lisa Mac’s blog. (Lisa is a photographer in Bentonville who sponsors our photo gallery.) If this doesn’t get you in the mood for Mother’s Day weekend, then nothing will. It’s SO good, and any mom or mom-to-be can relate to it.Here’s what Lisa wrote on her blog about the video she calls “Telling Annalee”:“My sister is here with us right now helping me “nest” as we await the arrival of our little miracle boy who could come any day now.The very day I returned from helping her move to Chicago (last September), we found out that after 7 ½ years of trying….we were FINALLY pregnant! I simply HAD to tell my sister IN PERSON, so a few days later my husband, mom, two friends and I made a spur of the moment, 20 hour round-trip adventure up to Chicago to tell her. She had no idea we were coming and we had one of her roommates keep her distracted while we snuck into their apartment. The following video is her reaction to our news. The first look on her face in the video is her reaction to seeing all of us in her apartment. Then watch her eyes go down as she reads what’s on my shirt…”
