It’s almost time for red, white and BOOM events across Northwest Arkansas!

Saturday, June 25th:

Rodeo of the Ozarks Fireworks

This is the last day of the Rodeo of the Ozarks (the rodeo runs June 22-25). On the 25th, a parade kicks things off at 10 a.m. At 6 p.m., rodeo gates open and pre-rodeo events begin. The Rodeo of the Ozarks begins at 7:30 p.m. Crowning of the 2016 Miss Rodeo of the Ozarks and fireworks will follow after the rodeo.

Sunday, June 26:

Freedom Fest

The event starts with music, kid’s activities and food at 6 p.m. with fireworks at dark.

Friday, July 1:

The Great American Blast, Night 1

The Naturals will once again host The Great American Blast over the Fourth of July weekend. In honor of the holiday weekend, the event this year will feature four (4) straight nights of Fireworks Spectaculars beginning on Friday, July 1 and ending on Monday, July 4.

The Fireworks for night #1 will feature an 80s music theme and the event is presented by Farm Rich.

Date: July 1

Time: Game starts at 7:05 p.m., fireworks to follow

City of Elkins Fireworks

The event will include music and concessions available by the Elkins High School band. Fireworks to follow. Bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Prairie Creek Marina Fireworks

Many people take their boats out on the water to watch these fireworks, but you can still see the show from nearby. One option is to watch them from your car at Corps of Engineers Park.

The Corps charges $5 per car for day use fee. We’ve also been told that you can see them from the Highway 12 bridge area and also at the top of the hill from the Marina (basically across from the Beaver Lake Lodge). For food options, JJ’s on the Lake is at the Marina.

The Great American Blast, Night 2

This is the second of four (4) straight nights of Fireworks Spectacular events at Arvest Ballpark in celebration of the Fourth of July weekend. The Fireworks will feature a One-Hit Wonders music theme and the event is presented by Castrol.

Time: Game starts at 6:35 p.m., fireworks to follow

Farmington Fireworks Display

Date: Saturday, July 2

Time: Dark

Location: Park anywhere on the west side of town. Many people go to the Farmington High School football stadium to watch the show.

Sunday, July 3:

Fireworks at the Crosses

9th Annual Fireworks at the Crosses will be at the Pinnacle Hills Campus. There will be a patriotic celebration featuring live music, outdoor baptisms, and fireworks. Food and drinks for purchase.

sparklerHot Dam Blues Festival & Fireworks

The Bella Vista Foundation, The City of Bella Vista Arts Council, and The Bella Vista POA are hosting Bella Vista Hot-Dam Blues Festival starting at 5 p.m. Immediately following the Blues Festival, the City of Bella Vista will present their annual 4th of July fireworks display around 9 p.m.

Three Northwest Arkansas blues bands will be performing: Jim Mills and the Hellbenders, Joe Giles and the Homewreckers, and The Cate Brothers.  Admission and parking are free.  Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from five local food trucks and the Bentonville Brewing Company will host a beer garden.

The festival is also partnering with The Oasis Food Pantry in Bella Vista to collect food for needy families. Spectators are asked to bring nonperishable, canned food items for donation.

The Great American Blast, Night 3

This is the third night of four straight events with a Fireworks Spectacular at Arvest Ballpark in celebration of the Fourth of July weekend. The Fireworks will feature an Americana music theme and the event is presented by Mini Babybel Cheese.

Ventris Trail’s End Resort Fireworks Show

The fireworks are choreographed to music and the show is best seen by boat as it’s projected toward the lake for an incredible effect caused by the reflection from the water. The location is just South of marker “8” on Beaver Lake, just look for the banners. The display is their way of saying “thank you” to our troops, those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, the community, and all the volunteers that helped to put on the show.

4th Annual Celebrate Prairie Grove

The event includes free swimming at the aquatic center, free food, drinks, snacks. Bouncy houses and water slides. Capped off around 9:30 p.m. with a fireworks display.

Monday, July 4:

4th of July Fireworks Spectacular at the AMP

The Walmart AMP’s 4th of July Spectacular will feature the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) under the direction of Paul Haas on Monday, July 4. Celebrate the holiday with a patriotic concert, fireworks and festive activities the whole family can enjoy, including face painting, sliced watermelon offered by Regions Bank, balloon twisters, giant Jenga and Connect Four, miniature putt-putt golf and much more.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the AMP Box Office, by calling 479.443.5600 or visiting www.amptickets.com.

Inside the AMP, SoNA will present a concert celebrating the beauty and grandeur of America as well as honoring our nation’s veterans and those who bravely serve in our nation’s armed forces. It will conclude with a rousing rendition of Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture.” Fireworks will be on display at the close of the show.

Time: FREE family festivities will be open to the public from 4-7:30 pm. outside the Walmart AMP.

AMP gates open at 6 pm and music starts at 7:30 pm, concluding with a 15-minute fireworks display at 9:15 pm. Ticket prices range from $3 (lawn seating) to $10-$35 for covered seating at the event inside the AMP.

An Evening at Orchards Park

Bentonville Parks and Recreation invites the public to attend the Annual Evening at Orchards Park-Bentonville’s 4th of July Fireworks Celebration.

Join the City of Bentonville on Monday, July 4th as we celebrate our Nation’s Independence at Orchards Park. Music will begin at 7 P.M. At approximately 9:30 p.m., the fireworks show will start. Concessions will be available.

Gentry Freedom Festival

Barrett Baber, a world-renowned Arkansas musician, will be the featured entertainer at this year’s Freedom Festival. This will be the 103rd annual Freedom Festival to be held on Independence Day. Barrett Baber, is an Arkansas musician known for his performances on NBC’s “The Voice” and for winning the CBS Grammy Gig of a Lifetime in 2014. 

The Freedom Festival promises fun for the entire family during the day and a fireworks display after dark. The event includes rides, games, food vendors, a car show and lots of entertainment.

Date: July 4

Time: Car show starts at 10 a.m. and other attractions will begin around noon and continue throughout the day. The Barrett Baber concert starts at approximately 8 p.m. Fireworks display at dark.

Fire in the Sky

This event is free. Parking lot opens at 6 p.m. and there will be parachutists, concessions and more. Fireworks display will begin at 9:15 p.m. Rain date is Tuesday, July 5.
