Giveaway: Tickets to Water for Elephants at Walton Arts Center

Water for Elephants began as a bestselling novel in 2006 and then became a movie in 2011. Now, it has come to life on stage, too! This week we’re giving away 4 tickets to the opening night performance of this spellbinding show on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026, at 8pm.

ABOUT THE SHOW:

The critically acclaimed bestselling novel comes to “thrilling, dazzling” life (Time Out New York) in a unique, spectacle-filled new musical! Hailed as a Critic’s Pick, The New York Times calls it “stunning, emotional, heart-filled and gorgeously imaginative.”

After losing what matters most, a young man jumps a moving train unsure of where the road will take him and finds a new home with the remarkable crew of a traveling circus, and a life – and love – beyond his wildest dreams. Seen through the eyes of his older self, his adventure becomes a poignant reminder that if you choose the ride, life can begin again at any age.

So, step right up to the “spellbinding entertainment” (Variety) at Water for Elephants, “the best new musical on Broadway” (Theatermania)

Recommended for ages 8 and up.

  1. Our pets can create the most chaos in our house. Two cats and our dog can cause a lot of ruckus if all of them is having a moment at the same time!

  2. It seems we have a flurry of juggling acts that pop up each month, especially on busier school days, sound familiar? So it’s a good thing I’ve had decades of experience being a Master Juggler!

  3. We’re empty nesters now so I love when the circus comes back to town. Enjoy these crazy days because unbelievably one day you will miss them.

  4. When our kids were little and in all kinds of activities, juggling who was taking who, grabbing food out, picking the right backpacks for each activity. Sometimes we ended up at the wrong activity. lol.

  5. Four kids, four pets, 6 sports, 3 schools and 2 teenage drivers make our life a busy, but joyful circus!

  6. Our life is a circus – between all the activities the boys are involved in, juggling those busy schedules, packing the car w/multiple sports equipment, a bag always full of snacks to our 8-year-old Lab continually reaching things on the cabinet, table or top of fridge to get into and tear up. LOL

  7. We have 2 dogs and a cat and it can definitely feel like a circus with they start chasing each other!

  8. Our house is a constant circus with FOUR indoor dogs and 2 teenagers! One of our dogs is a golden retriever puppy who we are training to be a service dog, so she alone creates complete circus-fun chaos!

  9. We have 9 chickens and two roosters, two rats, 10 fish, snails, a cat, and a dog. Always a circus at our house!

  10. I want to believe I’m the ringleader of our circus, but the reality is, I’m always walking a tightrope and the monkeys are in charge! I used to think I was good at juggling, but now I can only be trusted with soft, bouncy balls! From driving the acts from city to city, munching on popcorn and peanuts (or whatever random food one might find along the way!), we’re always on a new adventure!

  11. Our current circus consists of managing two full-time working schedules while at the same time corralling dogs, cats, and wild kids with their own hectic schedules.
