This week we’re giving four tickets to a fun holiday show that combines a classic children’s book with live symphony music in a one-of-a-kind concert created specifically for families. The event is called “The Snowman,” and it happens at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2022 on the Walton Arts Center stage.
ABOUT THE SHOW: The tradition continues! Join us for a special screening of The Snowman, based on Raymond Briggs’ classic children’s book, with the original score performed live by the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas ( SoNA). Following the screening, acclaimed Music Director Paul Haas will lead the audience in a sing-a-long of other holiday favorites. Join us for a merry and bright afternoon of family-friendly symphonic music!
The event is perfect for kids, especially those who love animated movies and music.
HOW TO ENTER: If you’d love to win these tickets to see The Snowman at the Walton Arts Center on December 11, 2022, scroll down to the bottom of the post (past the comments posted by other local moms) and tell us about one of your favorite pieces of Christmas or holiday music. I love O Holy Night
One of my favorite Christmas songs is Beautiful Star of Bethlehem by The Judds. As a matter of fact, I love their entire Christmas album. It’s part of my childhood and it’s still awesome to me as an adult.
It has to be Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas is you! It’s not Christmas until you hear that song. My daughter and I love to dance around the kitchen to this song.

I would love to win tickets! My family loves frosty the snowman music and Rudolph the red nose reindeer.
Definitely, O Holy Night. When I hear someone sing this at church, I almost feel like I’m in Bethlehem on a cold, clear night waiting on the Savior to be born. There is such a moment of peace! Rae
