Barbie The Movie In Concert at the Walmart AMP on August 4, 2024
If you loved the Barbie movie, you’ll love it even more when you watch it with thousands of your Barbie-loving friends at the Walmart AMP on August 4, 2024. Throw on something pink (or your favorite tie-dye would also be “kenough”) and watch Barbie while a live symphony—the Barbie Land Sinfionetta—plays the soundtrack live on stage in front of a HUGE movie screen. This week, we’re giving away four tickets to the show in August!
We’re expecting this one to sell out, so get your name in the online drawing asap. This will be such a fun moms’ night out or a perfect opportunity to see the movie with your teens who may have grown up playing with Barbies. Gates open for the concert at 6:30 p.m., with the movie beginning at 8 p.m.
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Fans across North America will have the opportunity to be transported to Barbie Land this summer and experience Barbie like never before. The record-smashing film will be projected onto a giant LED screen above The Barbie Land Sinfonietta as they perform the film’s award-winning score. Fans of all ages can celebrate the music of 2023’s highest-grossing film in a one-of-a-kind immersive experience, with the tour also featuring specialty limited-edition merchandise, photo opportunities, and more.
The Barbie Land Sinfonietta is conducted by Macy Schmidt, a Tony Award®-winning producer and Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree. Schmidt recently became the first woman of color orchestrator in Broadway history.
Furthering the mission, Barbie The Movie: In Concert will include a touring road crew consisting of a veteran lineup of all-women technical and production professionals.
The full-length feature film Barbie received more than 450 industry nominations and 120 wins, including eight Academy Award® nominations. Music from Barbie was nominated for 11 Grammy Awards®, with three wins secured in key categories, including Song of the Year and Best Song Written for Visual Media (Billie Eilish O’Connell and Finneas O’Connell, “What Was I Made For?”), and best compilation soundtrack for visual media.
Barbie is the highest-grossing film of 2023 and the highest-grossing in Warner Bros. history. It was directed by Greta Gerwig from a screenplay written by Gerwig and Noah Baumbach.

All concert tickets and add-ons will be delivered digitally. Patrons will access their tickets by logging in at wallet.amptickets.com with the same username or email and password they use to purchase tickets for the Walmart AMP.

My daughter is obsessed with the Barbie movie. We got ember the Barbie from the movie and a remote control pink convertible and she plays with it non stop. It is one of her favorite movies and we love the message is gives. It’s always on repeat in our house!!

When the movie came out last year, I saw it 3 times in 5 days with different groups of friends! So fun!
My sister and I had SO many Barbie’s growing up! We kept them in laundry baskets (that were overflowing with Barbie stuff) and played with them ALL the time. My grandma crocheted a Barbie gown for my Barbie’s once and it was my favorite! I still have that dress and cherish it!
