Giveaway: Tickets to “Back to the Future – The Musical” at Walton Arts Center

Mamas, what’s old is new again — even hit movies from the 80s. As mamas who grew up in the 80s, we are SO excited to see Back to the Future: The Musical race onto the Walton Arts Center Stage in Fayetteville on April 8-13, 2025. This week we’re giving away 4 tickets to the show on the opening night performance on April 8 at 7pm.

This will be a great double-date with friends who loved the movie version, or take your kids so you can introduce them to the magic of the 1980s. (This show is recommended for kids age 6 and up.)

Great Scott! Back to the Future: The Musical, the beloved cinematic classic, is now a Broadway musical with its destination set for Northwest Arkansas in 2025.

Winner of the 2022 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, four WhatsOnStage Awards, including Best New Musical and the Broadway World Award for Best New Musical, Back to the Future is adapted for the stage by the iconic film’s creators Bob Gale (Back to the Future  trilogy) and Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump) and directed by the Tony Award®-winner John Rando with original music by multi-Grammy® winners Alan Silvestri (Avengers: Endgame) and Glen Ballard (Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror”), alongside hit songs from the movie including “The Power of Love,” “Johnny B. Goode,” “Earth Angel” and “Back in Time.”

When Marty McFly finds himself transported back to 1955 in a time machine built by the eccentric scientist Doc Brown, he accidentally changes the course of history. Now he’s in a race against time to fix the present, escape the past and send himself…back to the future. When Back to the Future hits 88mph, it’ll change musical theater history forever.

  1. For me it’s when Marty says that Doc needs to back up to have enough road to get to 88 MPH and Doc slickly declares “Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need…roads.”

  4. The scene where MJF is on stage at the dance and playing punk rock music is hilarious. Everyone stops and just stares. Ha-ha!! Definitely ahead of their times!!

  6. The flux capacitor will always be my favorite thing about Back to the Future. I STILL use it to this day when I don’t know what to call something. 🙂

  10. Of course payback when the bully Biff gets his first taste of manure. And again and again in part II and part III.

  11. My favorite part is when Marty’s dad finally stands up for himself to Biff. I love those movies so much. We introduced the first one to our kids and they loved it just as much as we do! Would love to win for our family.

  12. My son’s favorite character is the Doc. He loves that he is a mad scientist. I would love to bring my son to see the musical. He really liked the movie.

  13. Doc is my favorite character in the movie. It’s hard so many great scenes and characters.

  14. Love so many parts, but the Dad standing up to bully, Biff is sooooo good!

  16. I thought MJF was so cool! Especially his red vest! First movie I saw at the movie theater!
