Most of us never leave the house without our smartphones, right? I have actually turned the car around a few times to go back and get it because I knew it would drive me nuts not to have it with me. (Yes, this may be a red flag for phone addiction.)
But we all know that a smartphone can be incredibly useful in an emergency, which is why it’s so important to have certain safety features enabled and activated on your phone. Even more important, you need to know how to set things up so your phone can help you do things like:
- Silently call 911
- Automatically text your emergency contacts with a pin of your location
- Tell paramedics what medications you take or allergies you have, even when you’re unconscious.
