The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks has kicked off Terrific Tuesday Nights again for the summer.
From now through August, the botanical garden will be open and free to the public from 5-8 pm on Tuesdays.
This family-friendly series allows the Northwest Arkansas community and beyond to experience the garden on beautiful summer evenings.
Guests are invited to make a donation to support garden programs. Picnics, blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. No pets please. Glass, smoking, e-cigarettes, tents, weapons and firearms are prohibited. See social distancing guidelines at the link.
The Willard & Pat Walker Charitable Foundation, Inc. has made this summer programming possible.
Also in July, BGO has dreamed up a new event: Magical Evenings in the Garden.
Bring the family and explore the garden in the cool of the evening. As a primarily outdoor venue with ample fresh air to breathe, the BGO is a good place to have some socially-distanced fun.
Fairy wings or costumes are encouraged and picnics are welcome at the event the week of July 12. There will be some magical surprises, including a fairy house building area or
small take-and-make activity for kids most nights.
Advanced online reservations strongly encouraged and guest passes are limited. Admission prices apply for nonmembers: $7 for adults / $4 for kids (5-12) / Free for children 4 and under
