Rogers Christmas Parade

The 31st Annual Rogers Christmas Parade, a Main Street Rogers event, will have a The Twas The Lights Before Christmas themed parade will have nearly 100 floats, marching bands, cars, kids, and animals.

  • 6pm: Nutcrackers preformance by Ballet Westside
  • 6:30pm: Lighting of the Christmas Tree
  • 7pm: Christmas Parade

A Christmas Village

As the cold weather sets in, warm your heart with a visit to a special Christmas Village on display at The Walmart Museum. The expansive village, built over a 20 year time period by Walmart customer John Rownak, features detailed models of a variety of Walton’s 5&10 and Walmart stores and supercenters. Located in the South Gallery of The Walmart Museum,  the exhibit is free and open to the public.

Caroling at The Walmart Museum

Get into the season by caroling on the Bentonville Square. Meet in front of Walton’s 5&10 to enjoy songs, community, and holiday cheer.

33rd Annual Christmas Tour of Homes, Eureka Springs

Nine locations are participating in this year’s tour, giving guests a glimpse of a bygone era. All stops on the self-guided tour will be lavishly decorated for the season with Victorian attired docents at each site to relate the history of each home. Each residence offers an opportunity to revisit the grandeur of the graceful Victorian era and its unique, enchanting homes. Visitors will be treated to choir and band music, carolers, refreshments and merriment. Tour goers will also see elegant ladies adorned in their finery and dapper gentlemen dressed in tails and ties as they stroll through the downtown. Tickets are available at the Eureka Springs Historical Museum 95 S. Main daily, 479-253-9417 or purchase online. Day of the Tour, tickets will also be available at the Eureka Springs Transit & Welcome Center137 W. Van Buren (Hwy. 62W) 10am -7pm.   Tickets are $20 Children 12 and under are free.

5th Annual Little Craft Show

little craft showThe Little Craft Show is Arkansas’ most talked about indie craft show that takes place twice a year in Northwest Arkansas. The outdoor spring event takes place in historic downtown Springdale, while the holiday market is housed at the Fayetteville Town Center in Downtown Fayetteville.

PRINCESS WINTER WONDERLAND BRUNCH

Dress up as your favorite prince or princess and join Anna & Elsa as they share stories of faraway lands at Trike Theatre’s Princess Winter Wonderland Brunch. Delicious food, story time, sing-a-long, and a once in a lifetime photo opportunity to create an experience your little prince or princess will never forget. Proceeds from this fundraiser benefit Trike Theatre. Tavola Trattoria, 108 SE A Street, Bentonville on Saturday, December 5. There is a seating at 9:30am seating, and then another seating at 11:30am. Jingle Bell Jog 5k and Reindeer Fun Run

Join us for the Jingle Bell Jog 5K and Reindeer Fun Run on December 5 at 9 a.m.! You can walk, run or sleep in. enjoy a complimentary breakfast, door prizes, festive music, special guests and more. Sign up for the 5k individually or form a team of five friends.

Kids under 12 can also sign up for the Reindeer Fun Run at 10 a.m. Wear your Santa hats, elf ears, reindeer antlers—anything that sparkles and jingles. Proceeds support the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks’ mission to provide education, entertainment and recreation for the thousands of visitors and students who visit the Garden each year. The Polar Express (at Victory Theatre)

Darth Knight Fundraiser

“Darth Vader” will be a special guest at the Darth Knight Fundraiser for Northwest Arkansas Fencing Foundation Saturday, Dec. 12. The fundraiser’s focus will be allowing participants the opportunity to try fencing for themselves (sorry, no light sabers). Tickets are $20 on the NWAFC website in advance, or $25 at the door. Children must be 5 years old to participate and adults are welcome to participate. The money raised through the foundation makes it possible for students of all socio-economic backgrounds to participate in fencing. Full annual funding for the average fencing student is $1,000. The NWA Fencing Foundation is the nonprofit arm of the NWA Fencing Center.
