Crystal Bridges’ new temporary exhibition, Chihuly: In the Gallery and In the Forest opened earlier this month and the museum’s culinary team has been inspired by the art.
And we think some of these events would make the perfect Date Night night! We often head over to Crystal Bridges for special occasions to eat at the museum’s restaurant, Eleven, and stroll the museum or grounds.
Artist Dale Chihuly has been an innovator for more than 40 years. He’s globally renowned for his site-specific installations in public spaces, as well as exhibitions in museums and gardens. At Crystal Bridges, extensive indoor and outdoor installations feature new works by the artist. Chihuly works in many media including glass, paint, and neon, and always pushing their boundaries to carry out his distinctive vision.
Here are some “Chihuly-inspired” food events at Crystal Bridges this summer:
Chihuly Saturday Nights this summer: Every Saturday night through Aug. 12, 6-10 p.m., Chihuly: In the Forest will transform into a magical woodland amplified by music, art-making and food from the Eleven Food Truck. $15 (Free for members, kids 18 and under, and for guests with tickets.) The museum won’t be open during this time, but there will be plenty of other things to see!
Dinner at Eleven: Crystal Bridges has a “Chihuly Tasting Menu” so be sure to take a look at that before ordering dinner at Eleven. Click here to reserve your table.
BONUS, Dinner events on Thursday evenings: Beginning Thursday, June 29, Eleven will kick off its Culture Hour series. Enjoy live music with dinner every Thursday evening.
Isn’t it time for a date night, mamas? We think so!
